I played golf for the first time ever today. I'm rubbish and ended up 12 shots over par (on a 9 hole course ), but it was great fun. On the downside, my hands are now quite sore and I've got a blister on my thumb..

Yeah we had a go after the game, but my blister hurt so much I couldn't hold the club properly. Bought myself a driver and a glove today, so gonna go again on Friday night and have another go.

WCMU is the fact that I managed to repair what I thought at first was a major problem with my car. Last night I was driving home and as I parked up, I noticed a rainbow coloured stream of oil on the wet road behind me. On further investigation I was alarmed to see it was coming from under my car. I got underneath it this morning to have a look see where it was coming from and found that the oil filter had a hole rusted through it. Tried to remove it by hand (the usual method) but it was rusted solid, so out came my toolkit and I hammered a screwdriver through the casing, soaking my hands in oil in the process. After a bit of cursing I managed to unscrew it and replace it with a new one from the car spares shop.

Total cost: £2.78

Luckily I had some oil left over from my last service so I refilled the engine and all appears to be fine now. I'm still gonna check it again tomorrow and make sure it's sealed properly though.

yeah i know he already tried to jump into that vase, but he is too small yet i will take a risk
