This piece called 'Windswept' is written for piano and orchestra. A friend of mine composed the original idea and asked me to fit it for a more classical setting.
I know you're all beatfreaks 8-) But you might apreciate this trust me ;)

Where is the problem in "You like beats!" ?

Personally I like classic music especially movie scores. And look closer to Prodigy Tunes - i.e. CLIMBATIZE, YOUR LOVE [Original Mix], TRIGGER .... they contain classic elements imo.

Liam had Piano lessons, too and this still helped him to compose such mastertunes I think.

Sounds very nice btw. - combine it with beats and you will have MOBY as result.

And no - it´s not dramatic ! :bigthumb:

theres lots of genres to learn piano.

i can tell straight away that u were classically trained, which is the most advanced.

me.. i got blues tutoring but i can't change that now its just my playing style.

the stuff is good, im checking it all out as i type here, its good to see somone talk it more to the edge of music, drums can be good, but it tracks like this is best to keep them out.

good stuff mate keep it up

Piano sounds a bit robotic, too robotic if I'm honest. You need to put some of the notes ever so slightly out of sync otherwise it just sounds a bit lifeless. Also, change the velocities of the notes, no pianist can play every note at the same velocity. A slightly more epic reverb for the piano might work better. As for the strings, a better sound would be preferable, failing that, turn down the attack, makes it more realistic. Basically, my main criticism is that it sounds like it was made on a computer.

Yeah..i agree here with pyro.
I think you have to "shuffle" the whole play it a little bit.

Oh this is not the reason...you have to choose wich notes you wanna give emphasis.

but what the hell are we talking about.Jess already knows this...

I know that Darkwave, but if you change the velocities just ever so slightly, like, from 100 to 98 or whatever, it makes it more realistic.

uhm Darkwave and Pyro you're both right...
I took a lot more time to work on the playing style of F-minor than on this one.

But that is not because I was lazy with this one, I just usually play piano in quite a straight way. You can hear that on the same page really :)

I'll try to make an edit of this tune maybe in the weekend, it could still use a bit of tweaking :)
