Just saw it. Best comic book movie EVER! *bombards you with hype* I wanted to see it again as soon as I left the theater. I thought about buying another ticket.

A few tidbits:

Prep yourself for the length. It's not a superhero movie. It's a crime drama.

Watch 'Batman Begins'. Chances are if you like that you'll like 'The Dark Knight'.

Saw it yesterday evening and it was amazing. I'll agree with Gillenium that Heath was better than Jack. WAY better. They seemed like 2 different characters almost. The only thing I hope wouldn't suck during this movie was Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent but he surprised me and pulled it off. Cinematic greatness.

I think it is excellent. Ledger is great, as is everyone else. I have no complaints...on second thought, I could have well done without Maggie Gylenhall, damn she's gross.

I'm quite surprised how the movie managed to rank so high in the IMDb top 250, must be a very big hype around it

I personally think this was the movie of the year. Saw the midnight showing on thursday then went with some more friends to see it again on Friday....honestly the best batman I've ever seen. Also think that Ledger was the best part about the movie...he nailed the joker. Also now I want to check out that Secretary Movie, that chick has the Tina Fey effect going on...she looks nasty at first and then the more and more you look at her the more attractive you think she is.
