I watched this one on the opening night here in Denmark, which was last night (the 23rd of July). Before and after I saw 'The Dark Knight' I watched the old ones again. They do not reach near this new one. I was not sure with Batman Begins but now I am. The new movies are better.

'The Dark Knight' is the best Batman movie ever by far! Best storyline I've ever seen in a Batman movie. All is just pure perfect! I hope Nolan will continue making these batman classics. It's really amazing how he tops the old ones.

-Of course his Batman-movies are better than 'Batman Forever' and 'Batman & Robin'. Those movies were horrible!

But 'Batman' and 'Batman Returns' are both great movies so I am very impressed that Nolan has actaully made an even cooler atmosphere/universe in the new movies. He's done a great job and I'm VERY hungry for more!

YES BATMAN IS COOL AGAIN!

I wonder who the next batman villain(s) might be...

-On that note I want to say it is really a shame that Heath Ledger died. He was a great actor and I don't think it will be easy for another one to "top his performance".

Saw it last night.... What a film!

It's the only film that's ever made me feel kind of vaunrable! It's just like.... Geez when the fucks the good guy going to win? Heath ledger was fucking brilliant. I wish they had made the film like a 15, they could have made the joker look even worse!

Why sick? I was talking about Heath Ledger.

You didn't like his performance then? I did very much and I hope the next actor who plays the next batman villain will be able to do as good as Heath Ledger did.

Actually I didn't know Heath Ledger before I saw The Dark Knight but now I want to see the other films he's been in. I hope he has played a villain before :)

Btw. I'm sure The Dark Knight will be going off with some oscars - reviewers and people are already saying it's the best film for years!

Should I see this movie when it's out on dvd or is it worth checking on the theatres?

Fifer, why fuck yourself up so fast? I couldn't sense anything as a joke from what lectro said... and if it was, why do you care that much? Just askin' :?

I wasn't. I wrote as I did not to say too much about The Dark Knight for people who haven't seen it.

But I would never joke on somebody dying!

I would say it depends on what tv and soundsystem you have at home. It's always good to see a great movie in the theatres and to me this is the best movie I've seen in a long time - not just best Batman movie, but movie overall...
On the other hand I'm sure this movie will be good to see in your home all alone with the light off. The atmosphere in the movie would be great for that.
So... I guess you can go either way. I would see it in the theaters though - and I did, hehe.

Well, I can always watch it @ my brother's place haha (50 inch screen and some hi-tec Bose surround set  ), but at my own tv it wouldn't be spectaculair...

I already have some mates that want to go tomorrow so I'm gonna check it in the theatres anyway (which probably won't be the last time I see it  ).

My country Poland have a delay with this movie, and we will be able to watch it in cinemas in next month, so i decided to download it , even if there is no good quality copy of that. So i downloaded it, copy was not good, but not bad either. I thought i could watch the beginning of the movie to see is it worth waiting so long. That was my mistake, because i cannot take my eyes from monitor, this movie is one of the best i've seen, and definetly the best Batman ever made. Movie is awesome from the first minutes till last seconds....shame i watched it in decent quality, but now i know i will go to the cinema in next month

P.S. Heath Ledger best performance ever, and one of the best overall i've seen. I have no more words to descrive this fantastic movie
