i got a wii and i wanna know how to get the damn thing online, any help would be nice.

Do you have any other gaming consoles connected to the internet?

Are you trying to connect it wireless or with cables?

got myself a 360 elite, that hooks up with the etheirnet cable though, and the wii aint got one, its got usb instead and i've plugged my modem usb into it but it says "Wired" but wrong settings or some shit lol

I'm trying to understand. Are you using a router?

If not, and your unplugging the ethernet to plug in the USB, did you re-boot the modem?

Yup, there´s also some wireless adapter for your pc wich your wii uses to connect to the internet wirelessly.

yeah theres the lan adapter and the other thing originally for nintendo DS. cheers for the help guys :)

Note that the nintendo ds adapter also works for the wii !

I think it´s a better solution to the LAN adapter, the Wii is a console I likely have with me when I go to friends, so when you´re back home, you´re not arsed with all those fucking wires.

Those nintendo wireless dongles can be arsey bastards, i tell you.
