yup i agree. the intro is way too short with the bass, shouldve at least been double the length. also, i miss the live guitar, but its still flucking awesome nonetheless :-D

even though it says "live" edit, it's not the actual live track. it's just the live version on Liam's laptop, kinda like "The Way It Is" Live remix, it wasn't really live. just the tune from Liam's laptop, which wouldn't have the guitar and live drums on it because it's not from a concert.

yes, the LIVE version would've rocked...

but this version is wicked as well

I like but I'm a bit disappointed. The original is mighty better.

Agreed.

I still prefer the original version, mainly because the Live Edit has the OBVIOUS samples and sounds added to it. There's nothing creative about it, nothing refreshing. I was an obvious move to do. Typical for aaaaaall the mixes of the AONO era tracks.

More Girls
Wake the Fuck Up
TWII (live mix)
Under My Wheels (and all other versions)
Who You Foolin'
Hotride (El Batori)

I'm getting tired of this way of 'mixing' because the mixes aren't tight and surprising. B&E 05 fits right in there in my opinion. :?

The ONLY track that has been mixed to a better studio version is Spitfire IMO.

B&E '05:

I'd say: 7.5/10

I think it would be nice if they made more studio-live recordings like they did with the radio 1 maida vale session tracks. Maybe do an entire album like that. The Maida Vale tracks sounds so fucking fresh to me!

well to be honest, its not an easy track, anyone could pull off an 05 edit of spitfire using the original same with the way it is, but break and enter 05 try doing that and your fucked, i actually believe the beats were recreated because no way in gods name could u sample the beats from the original and make them faster but lower pitched without there being alot of "lag" in the track, it totally aint just a small edit anyone could do, i tried to do it for about 4 weeks and nothing ever worked, the only thing that is missing is drums and a guitar and im sure somone can put them in because the guitar is piss easy and the drums are bearly used because of the new beats liam put into b&e 05, it seems no matter what gets given to people we all still bitch and moan

I just don't like it THAT much. :? Why all the other versions, mixes and shit? Why no *NEW* stuff. Since AONO, the only NEW tracks we got are Razor, Shadow (and all the countless versions). That's it. The rest is either a tune they played for at least a year or some motherfucking alternative mix. Booooooooooooooooooring to me, even if he did do a bit more to B&E 05 to make it sound totally different, it's still a different version to the original. If he decided to do all this work to make it a totally different track, why the fuck didn't he put that work in a completely new and FRESH track? Why would an artist make a track in 1993, play a different version in 95, then another in 05 and in 08 FINALLY make it into a studio version?

Bottom line: put all that effort in NEW material. Suprise us, I don't WANT the same shit different day stuff. :? Sorry. It's boring to me.

not necesarly.even if liam wanted to release them it would still ben a xl release.i think the guys came with the idea of the release as a prelude for the new album.it's a smart comercial decision
