I'm having mine out in about.... 10 hours.
I cant sleep and i'm nervous as hell haha. everyone ive spoke to says it hurts like hell, but some people have been lucky enough to be fully recovered by about 5 days, some, not so lucky, around 30 days.
Was just wondering if anyone here has had it done and what reccomendations they had for recovering quickly!?
Thaaaaaaaaanks.

fuck noh.i'm scared of this and also having my apendics removed.
i think to recover well after the surgery you can eat ice cream, or maybe ice cream is forbidden, i forgot, one of these .
will the doctor use the scalpel to remove them, or you are having a hot , busty nurse remove them with her tongue?:bigkiss:
good luck buddy

thanks guys. Erm, no, your not allowed to eat dairy stuff now, so you have to eat toast and crisps and hard stuff so your throat gets used to it.
It's gonna suck loooads, i know it.... and i bet something will go wrong...like i die...
having a hot busty nurse take them out would be great... dont think the girlfriend would be too pleased tho hehe. Theyre actually being burned out which has me worried.
But ho hum, gotta be at the hospital in an hour, when i get back tomorrow i'll say how painful it was and still is haha.

Ice cream is bad because it generates phlegm in the throat which will aggravate it when you cough, stock up on ice lollies/poles, they are a lot better for it. Get better soon.
(and don't smoke da reefer)

Right, its two days after my operation and yesterday I thought i'd been let off from pain lightly. I woke up at 6am this morning in a WHOLE lotta pain. It feels like I have a couple of razor blades in my mouth, i've lost my voice completely and I can barely open my mouth to eat and drink.
I have to write on a piece of paper when I'm trying to speak so i can get people to do things for me, hehe, so thats pretty cool I guess.
I've got to keep on eating and drinking though or else my wounds will get infected and then i'll have to go back into hospital, which I really don't want. I was told that today would be the worst day, but from here onwards it would get better...
I suppose all this may be useful for anyone whos thinking of having them out, or having them out soon anyway...
