it seems that hey will turn on the generator in 2 days but at low turation, and on 20 october they will turn it on full power.now the funny part is that it is said that we won't feel the effects of a growing black hole for another 4 years from now if it will happen.now 4 years from 2008 means 2012,that's the date the mayan calendar ends and who the fuck knows what that means.now this is realy paranoid but posible

There must be some links in English. Anyway there are some 5 scenarios along this part (different disasters).

I don't care much for a calender ending... 2012 seems kind of bullshit. Earth suffered for millions of years from all sorts of influences and how we're gonna bitch about 4 years left? I think that's arrogant and simplistic human thoughts... Earth doesn't care for a calender, so why would eveything suddenly end? We think in human years... maybe we should start to think in earth years... She's gonna be here for a loooong time, why not? Cause we happen to experiment something? Earth suffered harder periods.

dude this experiment is gonna eat the whple earth if it goes wrong.it's not like an atomic bomb that destroys a region and the earth remains the same.we are talking black holes here.they eat entire solar systems continuingly growing if they have matter and energy to consume.and i don't think the mayan calendar was talking about the destruction of the earth, but maybe a cataclysm like the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs.who knows...we just gonna have to wait and see and live our lives the best we can

It's simple: I don't expect it to go wrong. They have had enough time to experiment with it on smaller scale and calculate everything. The chance is probably as small as Prodigy releasing their album within a week from now.

let me put it to you this way: if it would all be up to you to decide, would you do this experiment?and would you trust the world's greatest minds in something that is over the human understanding?

Pinhead wrote: let me put it to you this way: if it would all be up to you to decide, would you do this experiment? It depends. If it includes finding the answer to my lifetime study (and the study of thousands of others) for their eintire lives... And we are as close are 100% sure as humanly possible, I will call this experiment plausible to have success. With the answer, I'm sure we will have access to a whole new world of science. And we'll be more close to say that religion is false, which is a big plus to me, and I'm sure for many others. Pinhead wrote: and would you trust the world's greatest minds in something that is over the human understanding?
If they see it the way I just said it I'm sure we will be ok. It's not that I'm scared of people that know to a certain degree what they are actually doing. Science is based on as much facts as possible, and I trust in them not abusing them. If they didn't care too much, they wouldn't build a machine 100 metres underground that can isolate something of over a million degrees celcius, among many many other dangerous things. I consider the thread nihil. I still think we oughtta be more worried about the new Prodigy album.

I would do it because im ruthless Technology is evolving faster than human biology, so i cant wait for eveyone to grow sane and stop war, polution, poverty etc. Lets colonize the universe!
Anyway, no particle collissions will be performed before after the 21st of october... it will only be turned on tomorrow.
