in the 90's... it's almost like a saying:
You go to an Oasis gig and you can sing the lyrics n stuff... or you go to prodigy and go utterly mad
(so fok this lol)

you know, you'd never see prodigy have oasis on as an opening act but u'd see it the other way about.
i don't think prodge will play there usual setlist, they'll change it in a bad way

That'll never happen, remember when they supported Oasis at Knebworth back in 96? As far as i know it was the same setlist they toured with all year.
That was a pivotal gig as it was only a few months after firestarter and it converted a lot of the indie kids to what The Prodigy were all about. Remember that they played to 250,000 people over 2 days with the gigs.
Slane is a top venue and i can only see it doing the same again, it'll reintroduce the music to all the oasis heads who are a little older.
However i would not be surprised if a very noticeable amount leave the gig before Oasis come on.
Point in question is that at Oxegen, there was an estimated 10,000 people to see The Verve on the main stage. The estimated amount of people to see the Prodigy? 25,000.
Similar sounds, i predict similar results.

changing the set list requires effort...something Liam H hasn't put into a set list for a very long time....fucking bad ass that they're playing together would be wicked to hear Shoot Down live. Should be reason enough for most prodigy fans to stay as I would expect Oasis to play it during there Encore as a way of closing out the show with everyone

I wonder whose idea this was ?? (the bands or someone else who has a share of that two million quid)
Either way it's brilliant marketing.

Well given the family relationship between Liam H and Liam G, I wouldn't be surprised if the Gallaghers asked them.
Its tried and trusted albeit 13 years since it last happened but i think they'll compliment each other nicely.
