I got the Wii by camping out last night. It was worth it, though. Fantastic system. You know that feeling you got when you first played Mario 64 with the brand new analogue stick and thought "This is about the coolest thing ever"? Well, it's like that. No more chit chat, must play more wii tennis!!

I know exactly what you mean. Amazing system IMHO. It was like Christmas in November. I picked a Wii, Zelda and an extra Wiimote & Nunchuck and my brother, his girlfriend and a friend of mine played some 4 player tennis and bowling until 4am. Time really flies when you're having that much fun.

Zelda's in the mail, so I've been messing around with Wii Sports and all the settings. Logged into the Shop Channel last night once, but this morning it's not working for some reason. Can't tell if it's my internet or their server to blame. I was wanting to buy Mario 64. All Brainkiller Wii owners will have to exchange friend codes sometime!

I got a free DVD about the Wii and I am not sold at all. Maybe because I am lazy but I just dont feel like moving my arm to play tennis or bowling (maybe I am always tired because I have a 2 yr old girl).

I can honestly say that this is the 1st nintendo console where I am not interested in buying it (I had a nes, snes, n64, gamecube). I just dont have the energy (or desire) to move my arms. It seems that the games will get old after a couple of months (whoopi, I am moving my arms to play as Link  ). Some people are saying that they will wait for the gamecube version of Zelda because it feels "forced" on the Wii and the way you have to move...

You'd have to be the fattest, laziest person on earth to get tired from the Wii. You don't have to make huge movements (although I do. It's fun :D ) It's much more immersive, and I hear the Wii version of Zelda has much better control, although I'll have to wait a couple days to find out. System-wise, it's the best Nintendo system since the 64.

well hey i haven't been as excited about a system as much as I am about the wii since probably getting my ps1. I'll probably pick up a 360 and ps3 eventually because they've all got good points and exclusives that I gotta have.

I mean my bro has a 360, and yeah graphics are kick arse and all that. But still... How much has the gameplay evolved??? Just played "Gears of War" and its wicked, I'll have that eventually but nothing has got me as pumped up as having my wii!

I'll have mine on dec 7. Gonna take the day off work and everything!

I don't see why not. But, we'll see.

Still waiting for Zelda, so I've spent my time exploring everything the Wii has to offer. Very few Virtual Console games available and no Super Mario Bros. , but I'm sure it'll be released later to ensure a steady profit for the online store. In North America, there will be 10 new titles available every Monday. I bought Mario 64 last night :D Ten bucks for a classic... good deal.

Fattest - laziest person on earth? Are you fukin kidding me? I have a Bachelor degree from the University of North Texas. I had 2 internships while in school and I always worked during my college years. I work close to 45 hours a week and I am responsible for 27 branches (200+ employees) in a 250 mile radius. I also have to deal with a pregnant wife and a 2 yr old girl. You still think I am lazy?

When I get home, all I want to do is lay down in my sofa and play some good games. With the wii I have to move my arms and I have no energy at the end of the day!

P.S. I am only 145 pounds...

I'm sure Gillenium didn't mean that YOU, mexicanfan, are the fattest and laziest person on earth, he meant that you don't get tired from playing the Wii and only the fattest and laziest person on earth could become tired from some small wrist motions. Sure you could clear out the living room and PLAY tennis (or boxing or bowling etc) and then, and only then, would you become tired.

One game that COULD make someone tired tho is Rayman Raving Rabbids. I bought that and reserved Splinter Cell yesterday.

Remember those light gun games like Area 51? Well Rayman has games just like it and they're fun as hell. I hope the Wii gets some light gun games made available soon!
