I got a very shitty CD Player with 2 speakers.

However, it's the only inheritance I have from my grandmother,
thanks to my dad's fucked up family.
My parents gave her everything she had, we loved her very much.
But my dad's sister and brother were always jealous about my dad's happy life and we lived most of the time without any contact.
However, it was difficult for my grandmother and of course my dad and his bro and sis couldn't avoid each other all the time (visits at her home, her birthdays).

Whe she passed away they took everything from her house and my dad was devistated about it.
All her stuff was already passed on to my nephew's and nieces.
There was a stupid CD player tho that appearantly no one urged to took out the house.

Keeping the story short,
I'm still playing music on this system, it helps me keep my best memories of her alive.

It's my most prized object.

Tough question, good thread!

Firstly, I wouldn't consider family or firnds possessions.

As far as material possessions go my nubmer one has to be MP3 player. I go everywhere with that thing, don't think I could live without it! It turns walking/bus/train/any type of journey from a chore into a great little piece of me time, you know?

Just like me;) Though nowadays I don't really use that so much, but it's still true. I always said: you can send me to an island where no people live, i won't bother if you give me BOOKS and MUSIC. I won't even be bothered if I die and I have to wait for my time till god talks to me where to send me if there is a library up there with mp3player. But of course if there is, I think they only have danielle steel as books and rihanna shits as music :-D
