GHDs are actually awesome tho, i use straighteners myself my hairs curlier than quavers.

I did use ghd's myself at one stage but my once flowing locks of hair are falling out. So its blade 1 haircuts all the way FTW!

At least you'll get the money back though.

Anyway i dunno what else to get the gf for xmas. She's not dropping any hints either, where as i'm subtle as a brick through a window with my hints.

i have no idea what to get people for christmas either! i've got my mom and step dad sorted, no idea what to get for my sister, my two best mates and grandparents though!!

also, i have 5 birthdays to deal with between now and christmas and mine and my girlfriends anniversary! these are two very expensive months

Sorry to hear. I know how you feel, my nan died last month. Funerals arent a nice thing but just remember it will be for celebrating her life and cherishing the memories you have of her. Just be strong.
