The Empire Strikes Back - Love it, amazing film, the best of all the star wars films. although thats not saying much about episodes I, II and III as they're shite compared to the original trilogy.

you're right man, i love old trilogy but that new one is shit, big shit:)

Last movie:

Dreamcatcher--> i like the movies based on Stephen King's books, and this one is definetly a good one, i start to like Thomas Jane as an actor

Because i was very dissapointed in most of the 2008 movies i have to return to the movies from the past years and watched one more time:
Fountain by Arranofsky,
The mist by Daranbort, and
the Prestige by Nolan,

Also now i'am searching for old 80's movies of all kind especially some great horrors from childhood, or sci-fi movies, and now im intend to watch

John Carpenter's Big Trouble in Little China
Clive Barker Hellraiser
Wes Craven Nightmare on elm street
and many more to come:)

'Big Trouble in Little China' is great! :bigthumb: Never get bored watching it again. You should add Weird Science to your list. Of the better 80s horror movies the first Poltergeist and The Entity. And of course The Thing and Halloween from Carpenter. Elm Streets, in my humble opinion anyway, have aged pretty badly and don't really work anymore.

There was a rumour for some time that David Fincher was going to direct one of the prequels... oh what it could've been!!!

Really? It scared me shitless as a kid. And it's still imho one of the creepiest 80s horror movies. I guess it's because it's so realistic.

I'm sure glad that David Fincher didn't smudge his hands by getting involved with the prequels.

Did you know that Spielberg was originally supposed to direct 'The Return Of The Jedi'? Unfortunately because of Lucas' dispute with the Director's Guild at the time Spielberg was unable to do it. As much as I dig the movie I would have loved to see Spielberg's version of it.

thanks for those titles,

i watched entity 2 month ago for the firts time when i saw it on some warez site in a 80s horror movies section and i have enjoyed the movie like hell, amazing and it even dont get to old after those years, the best quote is "welcome home cunt" at the end hheehe, and the best thing is that movie is based on true story

Halloween saw many times

and The thing i have on dvd (like the others based on sthephen king novels movies)

Now watching:

Wes Cravens People under the stairs from 90's

Fire in the sky (the best movie about Alien Abduction, true story as it claims)

Clive Barkers NIghtbreed

Johns Carpenters In the Mouth of Madness (on of his best movies, lets see is it good enougt now)

Fuck i love the 80's - those were times for a movies and music, everything back then was so amazing and magical and fresh(probably because i was a child back then:). Now everything new from movies or music is not fresh anymore, you have always feeling that somewhere you've heard/saw this whole "new" shit around us, if you know what i mean:). Cheers
