Any thoughts?

I am at work but I cannot wait to get home and download the update. The thing I am excited the most is the Netflix service (only USA, sorry guys).

i leave work in 10 mins, i'll be downloading it in about half an hour and then making my avatar! gonna be the same as my mii i guess

its a bit different from mii, theres alot more options, just if they start charging people for new clothes and shit that will be a bit outrageous.

as for the new experience its pretty good although the only new feature i've found is the party mode where u can have 8 people chatting privately i thought we'd get more new stuff but yeah its better than the old system

I really like it. I made my avatar wearing the white suit haha. I hadn't signed on to live in months but now I like the interface. The only 'problem' I have is that I had 9.3gb left on my hard drive and after installing Fallout 3 I have 3gb. Looks like the installs which really do make a difference are gonna cause me to buy a new ridiculously overpriced 120gb hard drive.

since ive had it, its crashed 3 times, and i can connect to live on the dash, but when i go into any game or mode, it'll disconnect me.... sure is fun....

i found a problem too, i can't get on the marketplace well i can just when i select anything it says an error and can't be found

Well my avatar is gone but Im having the same problems, seems like the marketplace has errors all over. Im sure it'll get worked out but still its annoying.

No issues for me and I already watched The Hives - Live from Vegas through Netflix and everything is cool with me.

The console froze for 2 minutes during the install of the update but it came back and after that it has been smooth sailing.

By the way, FUCK Sony for being dicks about removing all of their movies from viewing through Netflix and xbox LIVE. I tried to watch Spiderman 3, Superbad and Dilbert and I got the" Sony just fucked you anal" message

nope, i dont think the UK get netflix til jan 09. something i do like and found really funny was the photo swapping thing. me and my party of 3 or 4 others just uploaded pics and we were randomly flicking through them flashing things on the screen hehe. like, there'd be loads of pics of animals, then someone would flash up some hardcore porn up inbetween pictures of kittens

i dont find it a huge difference though. i've got used to it pretty quick, but its a little complicated at times.

Yea Netflix is on there in the UK. I've got a channel for it anyway, never tried it I don't buy movies from xbox live it's a waste of money. About the freezes etc and errors A) It just came out obviously there are going to be bugs (yea they did a beta, but it's different when millions upon millions of people are using it) and B) A lot of the stuff must be getting overloaded especially the marketplace i.e. So many people are going on it etc it can't handle it. They should iron all that out though within the next month or so. If they don't then I'll have a moan too!
