im planning on camping out with about 12 kids for this....we plan on selling them on EBAY

I am picking up a ps3 tonight and my wife will get hers tomorrow and then its EBAY time! :D

i heard some people got robbed at at target store, and some people campin in line for ps3 got shot with bb guns from a drive by... yeah thats real gangsta

Well I got off of work and went to bring my brother some food bc he's camping out in line @ Target and I went inside the store to demo the PS3 BUT the demo unit couldn't stop freezing up so they just left it off.

So I drove to the Wal-mart across the street from the Target and their unit broke as well. I called the Circuit City that in the same strip as my work and theres didn't work either. Best Buy had a freezing PS3 also. If that is a sign of things to come then so many ppl are getting ripped off tomorrow.

That sounds terrible Manny, any reason why this happens or is it because of the first produced units (production failures)?

I remember reading PS2 was at it's 14th production upgrade (like 4 or 5 years after it was released) and it still had quite some failing systems..

My guess is that the PS3 is being rushed to market and is full of bugs & errors. My Gamestop still hasn't received its PS3 demo unit bc they're aren't enough units. With no demo systems working/in-stores demo units, Sony is really in for it.

You couldn't be more right. I got hundreds of phone calls today asking for PS3's. I thought about selling a PS3 box on Ebay (of course stating that it is an empty box) but I think it would be too great of dip into the karma cup and I would have bad things happen to me.

FUCK!! this ps3 launch is gettin out of hand ive heard about 6 storys of people gettin shot and mugged in ques campin out one guy had his console and they shot him and mugged him in the car park, apprently one of them saw him buyin a ps3 in the store then phoned 2 other guys in the car park to attack him, also i heard some guys held up a line of 15-20 people outside a wal mart in coneticut and wanted there money then one guy resisted and got shot in the chest and shoulder hes stable and has no life thretnin injurys

A Gamestop in the Dallas area was held up and two guys that stole 2 PS3's and pushed over an elderly woman in the process. Fuck heads.

Another Gamestop in my area was broken into and some blu-ray movies were stolen.

Some retarded store manager decided to put the PS3's in the store window display and it was broken and his PS3's were stolen. Someone should be fired for that one.

Luckily we had this guy who could pass for Vin Diesel's twin brother stand @ our store doors and we had no problems.

Our store finally got a PS3 Demo unit in and I can't say impressed. We have a demo disk playing and Motorstorm looks pretty cool but its so laggy and blurry.

I think when the game gets really blurry (ULTRA bloom lighting?) and slows down its supposed to simulate intense speed but its just hurting ppl's eyes. The music is cool tho (Pendulum) and the best part of the game im sure will be crashing the vehicles.

BUT our system broke after 2 days. We had it serviced today. Haha.

I think every next gen system shipped with flaws this time around. Nintendo almost never has defects, so it's strange that some people report them with the Wii. I think it mostly has to do with the console's online functionality though, something that Nintendo isn't really used to yet!
