<  OFF TOPIC / QUESTIONS  ~  got myself another problem

hello guys, i know im in guest at the moment, dont worry i'll fix that problem later, just wondering though, i reset my computer (not reboot) i've got everything working again apart from the soundcard :P the pc detects the soundcard i think because when i check the device manager i have "Legacy Sound Drivers" then again i dont know if thats from somthing else like korg legacy cell or something but none of my sound devices shown have no type of errors, they are all working fine acording to device manager.

anyway theres 2 drivers, Realtec HD sound driver and a standard Microsoft sound driver, i need to know where i could re-install em, i dont think i've got much of a clue although i did get everything including the video card back up, i just donno why the soundcards aint working

the error i basicly get is when i go on audiacity it comes up on prefrences "No Playback Or Recording Devices Found"

i just hope somone here has done this before and knows how to fix it, i have no sound at all not even system sounds apart from the actual pc making the noise from inside the box.

cheers guys this is truly appreciated

did you try to manually uninstall the sound card by right clik on it , choose uninstall , then go to the top where's your comp name do right click and choose "scan for hardware changes" , maybe that will force win to load correct driver for your sound card

if that doesn't help you try "system restore" , trust me it can actually help you sometimes
