From Experience til FOTL their music was dnb

??? I think it was prodigy. No style you can tell. But anyway. The funniest thing to me was to see once in a paper, there was an advertise page, which listed some tracks ordered by style which you could buy to be your ringphone or what is that. I saw this one there:
ROCK - The Prodigy - No Good

I know I shouldnt be thinking about that but...What will be after IMD?

:-D Not annoying but kinda... weird. I mean, most of only care about waiting for the new stuff and you come to talk about future :-D Anyway, five years stop, a new album, five years stop, a new album, five years stop, a new album and bye bye. Who cares? So far away yet, I wanna enjoy the moment. SQUEEZE THE MOMENT

to understand the albums is to understand the times in which they were written, jilted is the best album by a mile, that came out of the criminal justice bill and the prodigy fighting back, they had something to write music about, fat of the land was a confirmation of them being the biggest band in the world taking it up another notch...

where do you go from there? only down...(this happens to most bands)

Although true, there is another way of looking at it. Right now in the 00's Prodigy will most likely have put out better material than they ever will do again in any decade that follows. In other words imagine 10-15 years time when the 00's is the middle period, people will be saying how great the 00's albums are and how they'll never reach those again either. Yeah the 90's albums are untouchable, but where we are right now will be untouchable in the future too so let's enjoy it!...

doesnt matter how much time passes mate an album is either great or it isnt...in my opinion they wont do another album... the fact they are going back to the roots shows they have come full circle in terms of vision and creativity, that isnt neccesarily a bad thing except liam for me isnt as creative as he was, but that was gonna happen, all people have to do is be realistic and lower their expectations.. they still rock live, i will always support them in whatever they do just the band has changed, saying this period will be untouchable in years to come is grasping at straws but like you say lets embrace what they give us even though its not as good...

First 3 albums are legend, personally i think there's no way to compare aono and invaders must die(also i have not listened to the entire album),also because the fat of the land is the best album ever made in the history of music(for me) and mftgj is a leader album in the rave scene...experience is what of more melodic can exist and it's great.Aono was nice, but absolutelynothing legendary as first 3 albums, too poppy and clubby.I can't say too much about invaders must die, only that(for me) the omnime single totally sucks, but there is world's on fire that is a mastertrack and warriors dance who is nice,so it's no too shitt for now, apart the first single.

Nah, I don't expect IMD to be the best Prodigy album; 3rd spot would do nicely

That's probably because such a song doesn't exist :-D

Anyway, enough offtopic. We can always create another TFOTL vs MFTJG topic and fight there

I've got pretty high expectations for the new album, and from WD and WOF, it's looking good. Every album from The Prodigy seems to be dirtier and heavier than the last imo (not necessarily better) and I reckon IMD is gonna have tracks of all varieties and not follow the trend. It can be the album to listen to however I'm feeling, unlike Experience for when i want chilled beats or AONO when I got too much sleep.

I've also got high expectations for Underworld and The Chemical Brothers. I did for Pendulum once upon a time too :(

[EDIT] Also I've got high expectations for Danny Byrd and High Contrast. How could i forget them?
