Just checked Amazon.com U.S. store and IMD finally has a listing, but it's release date is March 10, 2009. Looks like we're going to have to wait...

Here's the listing: http://www.amazon.com/Invaders-Must-Die ... 007&sr=8-2

Out of curiosity, does anyone have any rivaled info concerning the North American release date, which would then alleviate this shit-bomb of disappointment that I'm feeling right now?

No need for the boxset really. The Lost Beats EP will be available about two months after the IMD's initial release for download so I can wait for that...won't be missing a thing.

By the way, you won't receive the boxset before the album drops the U.S. It won't come any earlier due to international release dates. The boxsets will be shipped out on or a little bit before the expected U.S release date for prompt delivery, but I can guarantee that you won't receive it before the US release date...there are laws that prohibit it from coming before then...trust me, man I've checked....it sucks I know, but that's the way it is apparently. Hopefully the date on Amazon is a misprint. I've written Cooking Vinyl to find out the set-in-stone U.S. release date. I'll let you know, cool?

What part of WI are you from, Pinky? I live in Kenosha.

It does say
Dispatch estimate: 2 Mar 2009
Delivery estimate: 10 Mar 2009 - 16 Mar 2009 :(

But I just think that's the time it takes to get here. I don't think the rules apply to an import. When Tower Records was still open I bought the Their Law singles as an import the day it came out in the UK too on October 17 2005 and I didn't have to wait until the March 06 release in the states. Same with AONO I could of gotten the import earlier on August 23 2004 but I waited until September 15 2004 to get it on sale and the extra track. So since I'm buying an import here too from Label: Cooking Vinyl and not the American Label: 12TH STREET RECORDS. They can send it to me on the March 2 release date they have if I bought it from The Prodigy website they could send it to me on Feb 23 but I didn't want to pay double.

Yeah, I'm not waiting either. Already ordered my boxset.

I'm doing it for the vinyl.

oh I know. nothing ever gets here on time nor a decent release. example: I've had downloaded the Ferry Corsten album months and months ago because it came out in Europe, and its finally coming out in the US in 2 weeks. wtf.

a physical release will come in time. for now, I await a leak.

Im half way between Madison and Milwaukee btw.

I live in the USA

AONO was on my doorstep the DAY OF RELEASE, and I ordered it from the website. Signed vinyl, and CD's. If you order from anywhere it should be the bands record store, they sometimes even throw in free shit like stickers or badges

I think I might do this then...has to be cheaper than any alternative I've been looking at. I don't get why they do these different release dates...its things like this that make people download leaks. I mean why wait a month to get a CD when everyone already has it? Especially when you have to pay double or triple the cost to import?

I completely agree with Chump on this one. But hey, When AONO dropped on Sept 14, 2004 in the U.S., we got 'More Girls' as an added bonus--only other country to see that was Japan. We might just get a bonus track on the U.S. release of IMD...it could happen and I truly hope that's the case and I know that I'm not alone in that regard. One thing that I'm 99.9% sure of is that iTunes will offer a bonus track of some sort when the album is released. I hope it's not that Chase and Status remix thing...that remix kinda blows, in my opinion.

This may be an old subject, but, I LOVE 'Mescaline', how likely is it that it'll ever be released as a B-side? What do you guys think about this?

As for merch, Pinky, I just dropped $120 bucks on three t-shirts from the official site. Totally worth it though...gotta show the love. IMD!

Oh yeah, it appears that 12th Street Records doesn't even have a proper website to look for updates....so lame! American music has been sucking hard the last decade or so. I swear, anything remotely creative and interesting, music-wise, comes from Europe nowadays. American tunes have just been awful...it's so annoying!

- Liam said Mescaline would be a B-Side on a Single or EP in the future.

- Im about to spend that much too [probably more], 2 hoodies and a shirt, and the Omen single pack.

Well that's pretty crap innit?

Sorry to all the American crew but yo! I know most of you will import from the UK anyway! Haha, no worries.

Well, that sucks. Every day that passes is frustrating. I'll be buying the album for sure but you better believe I'm downloading it the day you guys get it!
