Only proof of the greatness of the album will be the sales. So we won't have to wait more than 10 days to find out. And then my guess is that he will shove the interview up his ass.

I partially agree. I think that IMD has his sonic parts which will satisfy everybody who likes the first three Prodigy albums. "Take Me to the Hospital" is not a mistake. It will (without doubt) please Experience listeners. "Warriors Dance" reminds me of "No Good" and MFTJG listeners will also be happy. And last but not least "Run with the Wolves" what could be, if Liam followed the "Fat of the Land"-formula.
The reviewer seems to like "Fat of the Land" most, maybe he does not know the first two Prodigy albums (or maybe he's an american?). This said, I totally agree with the reviewer in the case of AONO. This is the only one album in my cd-collaction I gave a (2/5) using discogs.com.
AONO was not uninspired. Liam choosed the wrong inspiration. For me, Liam was (everytime he made an album) concentratet on what was going on in the dance under-and overgound. But as we know, the year 2003 was a VERY unfortunate year for electronic music and artists (see Massive Attack, Fluke made weaker albums, and since then.....nearly nothing) not to mention what dance music is now popular in the overground-pop-(I wanna kid from KANYE WEST)-world.
AND YES I LIKE FOTL MOST and I've no prob to say that.
If I had to give a rating I would give IMD a 4 out of 5 star rating. One star less because of the very annoying synth-lines (again ) on Omen and IMD which remind me of AONO.
Thank you!

btw I don't know why everyone says that TMTTH is "like taken out from Experience" ?!?!??! Okay there are some samples from that era but as a whole it has nothing to do with it - the beat, the vocals, the bass lines are totally different and darker. It actually sounds more TFOTL-ish/Pre- AONO-ish than Experience-ish

what do u mean ?
u think im a fan since yesterday?
ive already listened to run thousand of times, hoping to find "that something". but i found nothing. except decent riff. rest is a shit. just like serial thrilla and fuel my fire, were shits on tfotl-compared to other songs.
when i say 'shit' i dont mean track is totally bad, i dont mean it cannot be listened or played live. i only mean, its obviously worse than the rest of the material. especially the lyrics are poor. im totally not into it.
what is better? to praise blindly every next song, or to have your own brain, your own taste, and remain honest ?
you talked about tune owns me..... firestarter owned me. its like a virus.
run only makes me annoyed. if firestarter was heavy like aids, run is only weak cough
and "it pisses me off" isnt it any argument in discussion my friend, is it ?

Maybe because this high-pitched vocal samples are a big suprize? No one would expect that Liam will use such "ravy" samples on the new album. Besides that, I only know Burial who used that kind of samples in his music in the 00's

Guys guys.. it's only opinions. That's all!
Opinions are like assholes - everyone has one!!
Personally I think that IMD has tracks to suit every fan. We all know there are those people who prefer the rockier Prodigy tracks, and Run appeals to them. Personally, Run is one of my faves of IMD along with Warriors Dance and TMTTH. Though I admit that the live version owns the studio version!
So, yeah, I love Run, but aint gonna blame people, or think they're stupid if they don't like it!

Not exaclt an in depth review.
Pretty half arsed.
He gave the album 3/5 I'd give his review 1/5. He has some points but he hardly goes a long way into proving them. Shoddy..

yea right art of noise wrote: Personally I think that IMD has tracks to suit every fan yea agreed. personally ive always been that one who rather came from dance than rock art of noise wrote: So, yeah, I love Run, but aint gonna blame people, or think they're stupid if they don't like it
yup, totally....i think im similar
ive got quite the same with Colours. some people say, it is a crap, a song for teenies. some others say it sounds like aono, in the bad meaning.
me instead, i found something deep and something personal inside that track. especially second half of it
maybe it sounds silly, but i felt like having deja-vu while listened to it for the 1st time. i especially love the bridge, with female echo-vocals in the background.
so im not against keith, or keith's vocals in general. i think he did great job with Hospital vocals. definitely, the best of keith flint there love these Dracula and Spider lyrics. abstract, energetic, fun

I've come from a background of both lol... my dad was a punk back in the 70s, so I was brought up with some really cool punk tracks. But my main love is rave music from the 1991-1993 era, and the Trance scene from 1997-2000. I like all sorts really, apart from pop. hate pop. want to kill pop. pop must die! colours wrote: yup, totally....i think im similar ive got quite the same with Colours. some people say, it is a crap, a song for teenies. some others say it sounds like aono, in the bad meaning. me instead, i found something deep and something personal inside that track. especially second half of it maybe it sounds silly, but i felt like having deja-vu while listened to it for the 1st time. i especially love the bridge, with female echo-vocals in the background. so im not against keith, or keith's vocals in general. i think he did great job with Hospital vocals. definitely, the best of keith flint there love these Dracula and Spider lyrics. abstract, energetic, fun
I haven't listened to Colours yet lol! I downloaded the whole album, but burnt only the songs I've heard live onto CD. So Colours may end up being my favourite, who knows! I want to have a nice surprise on the 23rd you see. Looking forward to hearing Colours, Thunder, Piranha, omen reprise and Stand up! It's the only thing that keeps me going in my shitty job!
Everything I have heard so far I am in love with. This album blends together everything I love about The Prodigy. As Liam has mentioned, you can't classify Prodigy in one genre, but every track has energy! And that's what I love! I've been shouting (not singing lol) Run, while driving in my car to work! Makes the journey bearable!! "YOU'RE A MUG...."

please dont try to convince me. unless u enjoy wasting ur time
ok i can stand the sound. but cant stand the vocals. keith became fake with that one....'shout it out loud' ?? etc, etc .... come on.... if i want to listen to punk, i'd prefer sex pistols....
piranha has got real punky vibe. run not.
its just my oppinion. but i'd really like to not stay focused on one track which i dont like too much i'd prefer to discuss about all these brillant tunes
