dublintokyo over at neko forum has heard these:
IMD was released in Japan today.
Walked into Tower records to hear Run with the wolves blearin.
The Japanese cd includes Black Smoke and Fighter beat.
Both are instumentals. Black Smoke has a kind of slow dark bongo beat and features drums by K.Pepper.Fighter Beat kinda reminds me of Zombie Nation. Its a bass heavy tune and really catchy, and is written by Liam only.
The Japanese package also includes a prodigy sticker sheet (Japanese "za pulodejiii" Grin and English), and a 10 page lyrics/information booklet. And an orange prodigy badge. The inside artwork is cool, but lacks colour, and includes pics of the band, and Maxim on a girls bike!!
I was a bit disappointed with the sound quallity on the live recording of WOF in Bilbao, but WD is sweet! (in Ireland)
I also bought Omen single today at a rip off price of 1500 yen.Bout 12 Euro!!! But its got 4 tracks on it and only available in Japan so I couldnt not buy it.
Im lovin this album, with Thunder and TMTHH being my favourite tracks.
(the extra sleeve on the side of the album also features the ant logo)
So Fighter Beat is maybe not full vocal Dead Ken Beats, damn it was really hoping for vocals on these tracks!
Not lookin good:
Back To Skool - No Vocals
First Warning - No Vocals
Dead Ken Beats - No Vocals
Sorry to be negative, but i dont get it, WHY NO MAXIM VOCALS!!

It could be disko punks or it has been reworked into a different track like trigger.
Hope it does not become a no souvenirs, but seems likely it will.
Prodigy are the only band i know of that preview awesome new tracks and don't release them. They might as well release a lost beats album never mind an EP lol
Anyway here hoping these new ones are good.

There are vocals from Maxim in the breakdown, but they are very distant, and not as much as live so I do see what you mean...

anything not released on an official album by the prodigy is always without vocals. heaven forbid they "waste" vocals on a track not on an album. It's best to sit on the vocals for 5 years and then say they're not good enough for the newest album and never release them
even after takin the piss I am looking forward to the lost beats quite a lot. bought my box set a while back.
ps: we do have the "studio" version of dead ken with Paul "Dirt Candy" Jackson vocals. or at least I do.
