they didnt take it badly though, liam seems almost apologetic in how he explains the 2001-2004 period, i went back and read some reviews of BGAT and AONO and dont blame them, the critics back then were vicious against the prodigy and can be hard for any band. Compared to a lot of other electronic bands in 2004, AONO still pissed all over everything else at the time.

I seen them live in Belfast in 2004 and they were awesome! you would never have thought they were having trouble. Then they even started introducing more tracks like Warning, Wake The Fuck Up, Back To School and Dead Ken on top of Spitfire, Girls, Hotride, Wake Up Call and some classics. all awesome tracks to hear live. But sure critics never go to the gigs cause they actually might get proven wrong.

It just pisses me off when people think they split up - fuck sake they scrapped an albums worth of material, not a lot of bands have the balls to do that, especially if they played most of them live (2001-2003) and being under such pressure to deliver (Plus family commitments, friendships, life in general)

Anyway that my 2 cents, glad the lads are back fighting with Omen going top 5, and IMD going to Number 1 next week!

it pisses me of that even the band insist on the idea that they are back and the had a ruff time and they pull it off eventually.fuck man that was 5 years ago,stop bringin that up.
the only reason why people forget about the band is not because max and keith aren't on albums,or because they think they somehow don't fit as a band anymore.it's because liam drops albums so rarely.2 albums in 12 years?and do you expect for people,press to remember you exist?
drop the next album sooner liam,and you won't need to justify anything anymore

yeah i know where you guys are comming from, every video interview i've seen so far has always started with them explaining how they never split up.

its alright though, i've been proven wrong about how omen done in the charts, i honestly believed they'd not get to even the top ten, it makes me wonder if we've got another platinum album on the way, which i think if you give it a while we will ! so it doesn't matter about all the 2003 bullshit, i'm glad it happened like that, aono is a good album, varies of tastes on there, sure it would have been better with "Warning" in the tracklist (the original) and have the new version for the stage only, but that turned out like one man/no man army.

well maybe that german markus kavka's interview was a nice exception of a general bad trend ..... i liked it.
he seems to be really into the band. prepared a nice set of smart, interesting questions. i enjoyed it, becos it provocated them to give extended, honest answers. i would like to see more interviews like that. no more ignorant shit plzzzz - find prodigy ppl between journalists and give that job to them

I don't think so. People love comeback stories and for the bigger part of the general public the band has been under the radar pretty much since the FOTL craze winded down. Those for whom the reality really matters, us fans, know the truth. For me AONO was the best album of 2004 but for most of my friends the album didn't exist.
