thats sad. well it is what it is for you then, luckily i don't have to make effort for enjoyng them. there are some tracks i sometimes skip, but overall there isn't any track i would't prefer against random track in the MTV charts.

I have feeling some people think that Lost Beats is attacking the Charts or something. They got 11 fantastic, together melting tracks on the album and then Liam thought umh iv got some cool ideas left OF the album and i dont know what do do with them. so i put them to the extra cd, some milk and cookies for the fans after getting concussion from 46min banging.

Chill people :)

maybe the problem is that he thought those ideas were any cool. you have to be very careful what you put out under your name. a bad track can do just as much damage as good track the opposite.
seriously liam was a godlike creature for me in the FOTL period (i was much younger too) but with each shit he puts out he just slowly descends from the clouds....

the worst thing is that i even wanted to like the tracks, but i cant. i can only find 2 memorable tracks on the whole imd album.

yeah i agree with you...i too was much younger (21) when FOTL was released and howlett was like a god...IMD is really good but it defo lacks the magic of MFTJG or FOTL without any question...the tracks on those 2 albums are genius and the new stuff on IMD are just good tracks

i prefer FotL, IMD, and Experience over MftJG

don't get me wrong, MftJG is a good album, it's just most tracks are just too long for their own good where after the first 4-5 minutes i'm ready to skip over. some tracks it works for and some it just don't.

love the newer edits though!

Break and Enter, Their Law, Voodoo People, Poison fall into the too long category....

i think it's a good album, but the edits were so much better...
they work better as more direct songs.
except One Love, love the full version, hate the edit

but FotL, IMD, and Experience i can listen all the way thru...
MftJG, i could listen all the way thru, but now some songs i have to go on to the next after a while.
AONO, only about half the album is listenable to me, kinda staggers in the last half...
but again the newer reworks from AONO were much better.

i don't HATE any of the albums, just prefer one more than the other...

just me i guess.

Been readin the comments on the lost best ep for the last couple of days now.

Ive been listenin to Black smoke and Fighter beat since Friday,

Black Smoke has a a nice dark vibe about it, like the riff that in the tune.

Fighter Beat, love the beginin, very 91 prodigy sound. Agreed tho it does get a bit repeative.

Managed to download The Big Gundown and Wild West tonite,

Big Gundown is a brill track, love the breakdown in the middle. Maxim vocals would have been nice but in Back 2 School they kind of got lost so it might have happened with this track also.

Wild West, love the 4 to the floor beat, nice track.

Overall once u hear the 4 tracks together they fit and run well, I actually like the ep. It is different from Liam to drop an EP like this but for me it still has the style we know from him.

Only Big Gundown is worthy of being a B-side so lets wait for the next single and see what comes of that....

Peace

it was different back then then now. get over it

That doesn't justify a boring track to me. And i already got over it in about half an hour, cause i simply don't listen to it.

on the other hand im still inspired by some of the beats, but mostly the production.
(which is also rather lame compared to his previous works. i mean IMD - the track, wow its some fucking shitty mixing. not to mention Warriors Dance)

I got my boxset today and saved the Lost Beats EP until today for first listen. After reading all the comments I wasn't expecting much, but I was surprised how good it was! Believe it or not Black Smoke is my fave out of the four. I love the whole dark vibe, the beats, the production, the dirtyness and the riff!...

Does anyone else have CD text on their CD player? Because on mine the CD text for The Big Gundown says Comanche! Seriously that is what it says on my CD player! It's an awesome track. Wild West is good too. fighter beat is a bit weak, but it's still alright...

I renamed my files to:

The Big Gun Down (Comanche)
Wild West (Disco Punks)

Btw, Wild West (Disco Punks) reminds me to Robot Rock by Daft Punk a lot!

Yeah I did know that, but I thought it was a bit ironic that they changed the name for the box set yet the Comanche name is still digitaly on the disc itself.

Now for a general thought on Wild West being Disco Punks, is it really? I don't think it is. There is no disco or punk sound in Wild West. Not only that but if it was Disco Punks renamed then I would have thought the digital CD itself would still have said Disco Punks on the CD text like it still says Comanche. It doesn't though, it says Wild West. I think Disco Punks was pulled, unless we have reliable proof otherwise?...

i hear disco in the wild west, but i hear no punx there :)

anyway i have a feeling it's one and the same track

well maybe i'm wrong - but i don't think so. i think, it had been way too late to change anything in tracklist. i know that matrixes for the cd's were ready in december. and about that time they had been sent to particular countries - to produce/press the cds. so no changes were possible after that time .... of course it's a second-hand information - so i may be wrong :)

by the way, wild west what a banger :chill: i mean really good track
