a little problem here
what if somone uses ableton 7 rewired with reason ?
or cubase and pro tools or multible equipment ?

there should be an "other" option too.
for instance, I will play the pandeiro and sing, record the thing and submit it. No sequencer.

Ableton Live.
If i don't sample the drum kit, and construct my own, i could be using ancient Rebirth for some fine house riffs.

simple.. just vote "other" and write down your combination.

I'm planning on using Cubase... but I might also use Ableton for cutting out samples from the track(s)... possibly...

could be..
If a person knows more then just one music-software. you can choose what program you wanna use, based on that sound and feel you wanna have on your track.
diferent software = different sound

Not just that though, say you want a live part, you could never record it in Reason!
