ah there wasn't much promotion at all i feel, theres people even in the uk that have no idea there back never mind with a new album.

plus there isn't much of a new sound on the album at all compared to all the "Freshness" liam went on about during 2006/2007 sure its great album but it doesn't sound like some new madness that will spawn a million copycats because of the new sound, theres only a couple tracks i would say sound fresh and one of them is worlds on fire, might not be fresh to us but i can't pinpoint a genre to it because of its sound and no offense to thunder but that sounds like aono but i love aono.

i mean with albums such as jilted fotl and aono you said the very first time you heard them "i've never heard this type of music before" even aono spawned a masses of club tunes after its release, i never got this with invaders must die but i do think its an amazing album none the less.

if something mad got released half a year early and everyone was buzzing about it that would make the sales go straight through the roof, i dont think it will get any better, maybe warriors will reach a higher number than omen, but i recon it will get a few bad reviews due to its "Sound"

ah well we can only wait and see

Because IMD had alot of great promotion and it helped in getting it to #1 and Omen reaching 4th place on the singles charts.

well i'm on about imd, it was all net promotion sure theres alot of people kicking about on the net but it was all rushed

Not much "REAL" promotion in Australia.

We don't even get a single over here. So work that one out. Thats not good promotion is you ask me.

Single sales are dead in most places. The UK is probably one of the last places that bothers with CD/Vinyl singles and sales are tiny percentage of what they used to be. Digital releases are the present/future standard.

There were no TV adverts for 'IMD' here in the UK when there was for 'AONO'. The band themselves have done loads of promotion via interviews with the media, Radio appearances, etc.

What promotion do people expect? An airship with "The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die" flying above every city? Promotion is more targeted these days. The internet is the way promotion happens these days. Stick a Prodigy video on Youtube and it gets seen more by people who may buy a Prodigy record than sticking a TV advert on and hoping the right people see it.

IMD entered the Dutch album chart at #3

And a big Dutch record store has a TV ad for the new album, mostly showing parts of the Omen video.
