'That was something that I was gonna say in my speech. But I wasn't going to do a speech, but he walked off, so I had a do a little (speech). Anyway, but I was gonna say, this tune hasn't got any guitars in it, so we're really proud of that'.

Basically, he means that he wasn't going to say anything originally, but felt like he had to because Keith left him on his own.
