Say what? The general consensus is that Let The Right One In is the best film in it's genre since The Lost Boys (1987) and I fully agree. A rare exception in the mostly mediocre and crap dominated vampire (and horror) movie genre.

Yeah and IMDb rating is 8,1 or smth, I knoooow! :?
Ok, I confess maybe it's just that I expected it to be a mystery/psychological horror film with some fckin action, but in fact what I got was some kind of art drama/romance full of passivity & "touching moments" tastelessly mixed with disturbing, excessive blood scenes.... So it was just the opposite of wht I expected & I wasn't in the mood for that yesterday at all...
My bad :P

The Final Destination. The first film i've seen in 3D and it was a good experience! Shame the film wasn't too good, the final destination films get worse but it was still alright.

I watched Drag Me To Hell for about 20mins, right up until the dead granny starts puking in the girls mouth. Im really getting sick of fucking coked up directors.

Dont even get me started on Antichrist where a girl starts wanking off her husband and he ejaculates blood cause she hit him with a log in the nuts a minute before that. Then she cuts of her clitoris. I mean, FOR FUCKS SAKE!

(2009)

A bit of a mixed bag. There was several great scenes and lots of great Tarantino dialogue. Christoph Waltz as Colonel Landa (above) was absolutely brilliant. The true star of the movie. This role should elevate him straight to the a-list. Hated the way Hitler was portrayed in the movie. He was so idiotic that there really wasn't anything villainous about him. I wish he had been more like the Emperor to Lando's Darth Vader. What I resented the most though was the over the top violence. The baseball club scene and the shooting off of Hitler's face were just plain mad in the context of this particular movie. Both scenes were way too long and unnecessarily rich in detail. But still the good outweights the bad cause the good is exceptionally good.
