Ok and here's the proof that they are making a lot of profit from postage.

Cost to send to a friend of mine in UK: 5.95
Cost to send it from UK to Greece: 21.20
Total: 27.15

Cost directly from recordstore to Greece: 41.00

Difference: GBP 13.85 just from each order someone from abroad makes...

Also, page 322 I think it was, Keith from the ditched Take Me To The Hospital video shoot?...

Id say so, its a cracking pic i think
maybe it wasn't for the tmtth shoot.maybe it's for the new rwtw video and they filmed it ahead of time.but i'm just dreaming now

Could be a backup vid lol! Nah, it's a shame they ditched the original video, that question needs to be asked in an interview...

It sucks so many people are getting damaged books. I must be lucky there, mine's totally fine, and I don't remember any bubble wrap either, just two thick layers of cardboard. It must be a miracle! ...

Who cares what happens to it when you return it? The problem is that it's damaged during the ORIGINAL delivery, which is most certainly not free.
If you pay a premium for postage, it should arrive in as-new condition.

Jiltedgenerator, the 2nd picture down is the same as mine; but the packaging it came in was immaculate. I'm still waiting to hear back off them about mine... Well as I'd expect anyway with it being a Sunday and all.

I dont know the rules about webshops in the UK, but in DK we have the following rules:

If the purchased item is unused, you can always return it until 14 days after delivery and get your money back (excluding shipping costs)

In case the item is damaged or not working, you can return it and get it repaired (if possible) or a new similar item (shipping back and forth must be paid by them).

After 3 cases of recieving a damaged item, you can require all your money back (including shipping costs).

Im sure there must be rules of this kind in the UK too. Any UK'ers here who know them?

I like everyone else paid for courier delivery, the FREEPOST RETURNS address is given to you when you call recordstore. I paid 77p to add recorded to the freepost, just in case. Your best off emailing the pics of the damage, then call them and they read your message whilst you're on the phone. They then decide if you can get a refund or replacement.

Takes the piss, you all get over the top delivery prices on top of your £99 and then to find out you have a damaged book which has to be sent back.

So really despite all this IS it actually worth it guys?

^ yes. Took me and the missus about 20mins to 1/2hr to look through the photos. It's is a massive book and very thick with some great photos.

The postage costs are over the top, epsecially for those out of the UK and damaged items are simply not good enough but if you receive a perfect condition item then they are worth the money. It is a lot, but it is worth it.
