everyone is comparing Avatar with the 2009 Star Trek movie...
but both movies have one very specific important thing in common, see if you can figure it out

if it was the same director then i'd see the reason in comparing but its only an actor
if i was an actor and i was in a movie were i raped and killed 200 women and then i was in a romance film i dont think people would consider comparing those two movies

Finally saw this... pretty damn cool!! Didnt beat my favourite scifi flicks of 2009 (District 9 and Star Trek) but definitely a landmark in film history!!!

seen it for the 4th time in cinemas now
God I try to pick out the little details like Jake's avatar's muscles pumping up throughout the movie... things happening in the background.... God I love the immense feeling of detail put in the movie.
