Ok, maybe not exactely about The Prodigy but I thought Iam gonna share with you:
"It's been two years in the making and I'm more excited about this record than anything we've ever done. We've been lucky enough to collaborate with some of our idols, played live alongside some of the biggest names in rock and electronic music, and finally set up a permanent studio in London. We've learnt so much during the process and this next record really does feel like a culmination of all those experiences. I'd say it's almost 'The Perfect Storm' but that shitty film with George Clooney ruined the phrase." - Rob Swire
Following PENDULUM'S ALBUM PREVIEW DJ TOUR of Australia scheduled for DECEMBER 2009 and an exclusive ALBUM PREVIEW DJ SET which will be streamed from their EARSTORM night at London's MATTER night-club on JANUARY 22ND, MAY 2010 sees PENDULUM hit the road at full steam when they embark on a momentous must-see LIVE tour of the UK and Ireland to coincide with the release of their NEW ALBUM, 'IMMERSION'.

I'm genuinly interested to see if they respond to a lot of the fans that hated In silco and go back to some sort of hold your colour shit! They have a huge fan base now, why not unleash some hardcore D&B on the world?
If they do release something similar to In Silco I'll be very dissapointed . Hold your colour is without a doubt one of my favorite albums.

from what I've heard on youtube their new stuff is much much better than both In Silico and Hold Your Colour (which were not that impressive) - I have to admit though that they are great live and the new tracks sound so fresh and diverse - you can hear dnb, electro, dubsteb, breakbeat - should be a massive record.
can't wait
btw their latest minimix and the remix of Plan B's "Stay Too Long" are real bangers

Hold your colour is without a doubt one of my favorite albums. In my opinion it wont be like Hold Your Colour and nor like In Silico. It will remain containing rock elements but it will be harder and better and will contain elements of dubstep.

What I don't like about the pendulum songs is that it's from the same kind. Althought i am really looking forward to their new CD. Lots of promising songs popped up on youtube thoughout the last several months. Hopefully they'll put a clean (non-live) version of master of puppets on it as well

You know what, I've got a funny feeling that Pendulum will remix Run With The Wolves. I think it'd suit them n their usual style really well. They've had Sub Focus n Chase & Status remix tracks, Pendulum seem to be the only ones that haven't yet. Who's to say they wont remix another Prodigy song, Sub Focus has now done 2 n I think they could do a good job with RWTW.
Anyway, lookin forward to the new album. Hopefully it wont be as Rock orientated as the last.

hold your colo[u]r was amazing.
In silico had a few good tracks, but the overall vibe was lost.
new Pendulum sounds generic drum'n'bass from what i've heard, at least....

Yeah that pretty much sums it up. If an album has at least 5 or 6 good tracks, it's an ok album for me. And so In Silico is.
