Prodigy made me move to other styles than hiphop which was the only thing I was listening to before them.

Prodigy made me understand hiphop a bit more because they directed me to the roots, the core of the genre. I couldn't care less about the entire genre (I just don't 'feel' the music and the lyrics, and believe me I have tried hard), but I do love the sampled tracks from Dirtchamber and a lot of studio tracks. Maybe because I feel like the samples are part of something bigger now.

Sorry for interrupting you guys, i'm only a newbie (well 2007-08...) but why should the oldies be against the new sounds? it's music man, it evolves every minute of the day! Should the newbies be against MFTJG then? Don't think so. you gotta like what you like. And I think Liam's thinking the same way. He makes what he likes. I'm glad Liam isn't sticking with the things he did in the early 90s (even though experience is still my favourite prodigy era)
oh btw, not a real dubstep fan talking here btw. I partially like it. (the older oriented stuff.. with the 'real' fat ass basslines) and I can appreciate some Skrillex too.. it's just no dubstep.. it's noise but yeah, it can be good to go wild on at parties though

Exactly Skrillex has taken over people's minds on this forum for some reason ...Who cares about him? There are so many other better electronic artists around....

The reason is that Liam and Keith like him... Remember few years ago what happened in this forum with Juctice, after Liam's comments about this group!!
I tried to listen Skrillex but his "sound" never touched me at all. Ok everyone has his "likes" and taste in music, but I believe all this talk about this gay Skrillex is so fuckin boring. I agree completely with you: There are so many other better electronic artists around

People should take time to find new music really and not only follow what others (their friends and such) are listening to.

Indeed, if you want to chat dubstep then take it to the Music section in the "Fun Forums" section or the download section (Heres a link to a discussion already http://www.brainkiller.it/public/forum/ ... php?t=6910) We dont need every fracking topic in the News Section turning into pro/anti dubstep chat, its getting annoying as fuck reading a topic and its all dubstep this, dubstep that

Nice blog, AWOL sounds finished so that one will probably stay as it is and Bring The Noise will get a re-work. Let's face it, Bring The Noise as it is wouldn't make for a good song, would it? As it is it's just a good fill. It has the elements, now it needs the structure, if you ask me...

I actually like bring the noise more than AWOL at the moment. but they both still need to be worked on. could be the recordings of course, but i'm not completely satisfied with AWOL :/
