It's a bit strange that both the new tracks only seem to last around 2 minutes each. When 'Warriors Dance', 'World's On Fire' and 'Unstoppable' were played for the first time they were full length tracks. 'Fills' tend to last a couple of minutes but both the new tracks have full lyrics (verse and chorus) which 'Fills' don't have usually. I wonder if the new tracks will make it to the album or will they turn out to be 'in between' tracks?

I think Liam works around with it until he is happy with it and I think he don´t want to play the full version until the release of the new album. Cos of "maybe" - let´s call it "LIVE-leaks" on the internet....

If you follow Betas and final versions in the history of prodigy tunes, who knows, what´s really left on the final album version ???

Think about the first "Beat 55" and the final version "Omen" ...

Work-In-Progress.

We heard mescaline/unstoppable live loads but look what happened to that... At least we are hearing them tweak and test

the first version of Awol was around 4/5 minutes. the newer version of Dogbite is around 3... tracks are still being fleshed out.

The album won't be out this year anyway, these are the testing stages...

lets hope he has a BGAT feeling pre AONO era and scraps this direction, two truly mediocre tracks, very lazy, boring, no vibe at all for me.... dark?? nah...boring..yes

Mostly by people who havent heard the new tunes live... so take all of our praise and dismissal with a grain of salt.

it is worthy of note that people who have been to the recent live shows have loved the tracks...

this recent version of AWOL sounds massive. loving it. Dogbite still sounds very blah. so 1-1 thus far with the new songs.

just to remind...

Quote:
Before Christmas I saw you say in an interview that you’ve got to finish some tracks that didn’t make it on the album…

Liam: There is lots and lots of stuff left over from the record. Some people have heard it. The obvious one is ‘Mescaline’ and, what else, ‘AWOL’ which people haven’t heard. It is probably an album worth of stuff that hasn’t made it on the album, which some of it needs to be finished.

People probably still want to hear ‘Dead Ken’. None of these tracks are going be saved for a new record. They need to come out before we start on the new album because you have to start fresh, you know. Whatever the singles three and four are, that is going to be a good opportunity to stick on some of those tracks.

March 2009...

Who says its going on the new record?
I remember that interview and thats why I think it's just a temporary live track that will get ditched soon, along with Dogbite.

They said they would reveal some of the new album tracks at download festival which will probably the 'true' new songs.
