Robert '3D' Del Naja from the Bristol band admitted that "it's more fun putting things out randomly" than sticking to a schedule. "We got quite a bit of EPs out next year," he told Spinner. "We're tired of the cycle of album, tour. It's more fun putting things out randomly, sort of spontaneously. We've done it quite traditionally this year, so maybe next year, a bit unorthodox." Meanwhile, Massive Attack will release their 'Atlas Air EP' on November 22. The four-track EP will include two new mixes of 'Atlas Air', plus a new song called 'Redlight', which features Elbow's Guy Garvey. Proceeds from the EP will be donated to War Child.

I'm glad that Massive Attack are doing this, as we might get some more of those unreleased tracks. As for Prodigy I'd rather another album than some EP's. The best thing is an album, nothing tops that, and I think that's what Prodigy would choose...

Atlas Air EP is available for Pre-Order finally from Vinyl Factory. Only 3 tracks, and Redlight is a Clark Remix. What happened to the original? I don't know. Also it's £25, pretty steep I think. The proceeds do go to charity though...

Yeah an album of 12 tracks is much more to look forward to than 3 EPs spread out, personally. But of course, Massive Attack are doing what they want to do and I can only respect their freedom. They're doing it for the enjoyment of making music, and I love that

some hard beats there, I think it sounds like it's coming from Heligoland sessions (a faster and harder Flat of the Blade).
