Although I liked "get lucky" (albeit a bit dull), I must say the full album was pretty boring and uninspiring. Like elevator music. I think I heard it for the first and last time already.

I like Giorgio By Moroder, Motherboard, Doin' It Right and Contact but overall this album is nothing special after first listen... I need to listen to it more times and then we will see

To be honest, I'm fairly impressed by it. There are some truly epic moments on it, something that has become quite rare in the recent years.

However, there are some turds. 'Within' being one of them.

Giorgio to Moroder is fucking awesome. really epic stuff

The album is a lot more "relaxed" than what i was expecting tbh.. but it's good home listening stuff

I guess this will be the initial impression of most Daft Punk fans (including me at the moment), since these tracks are more like their old style. Well... I won't deny that I'd prefer if their new album had more punch, but I think after a few listens I'll love it. Contact stands out from what I've heard so far, old/Tron style combined with real percussion in a great way.

what i do like is that the new album does not answer to my expectations i had in the first place. They are not repeating themselves for a single moment.

I can here some elements from the Tron soundtrack being used (the soft tones and melodic parts which i liked very much) and the groovy feeling Discovery had, but then all in a new way.

But true, I have to listen to the album 'one more time' for a better opinion..

I like it. Some great musicians flexing on it. Sturdy 7.

All the hype around the build up got a bit but it has been a while.
