I've heard noisia well one of the three members bad mouth the prodigy. Along with John b, and that fat guy from pendulum.
Saying that the noisia remix of omen is how the original should have sounded. It's on YouTube.
About nasty- well my mom a long time fan since no good doesn't like it, she's the person who actually got me into them when I was just a kid. I think nasty as a lead single is pretty weak, I remember Hearing on maximum prodigy the audio book that mind fields was original gonna be the follow up single to firestarter but liam scrapped that as he thought the track was not a big enough follow up! what I'm trying to say is as a lead single there could have been a better choice. I do like the track, it doesn't sound as commercial as Omen, when I first heard that I couldn't help but think of pendulum :/ nasty is like a mash up of Pirhana, razor and run with the wolves. In my opinion. Anyway I'm going on abit now, this is my first post on here just thought I'd give my two cents

electronic music scene in the 90s was so different. i guess it was much easier to stand out for the prodigy. now there's lot's of cool sound out there, and it's all made with same technology.. it's much harder to creative something huge and innovative. it's inhuman to do something like that twice.

The title of the pm said it all. There was nothing else.

Hey, you gave your opinion while not insinuating that it's a fact, good job.
You do make some good points, although I don't really agree that it sounds like Pendulum.
As for saying it's not the best choice for the first single, we'll need to hear the rest to be able to judge.

Yeah, I mean it's fair to say that Liam's creativity and enthusiasm has waned over the years, but he's still a big fish, though in an ever-growing ocean; when he started out he was a blue whale in a paddling pool.

WTF ??
First, there is Radio Babylon by Meat Beat Manifesto. Then, Charly (Alley Cat Mix) which includes a beat sample from Radio Babylon. THEN, there is Omen (SINGLE VERSION, not to confuse), which refers to the Charly beats (The nostalgic IMD trip).. And we also find this kind of beats in Nasty, yes. But this is ONLY THE BEAT ! This is what supporting the rest of the sounds, what's the fuckin relation with Omen ??
I don't post here often, but I read the forum almost daily since 2009, and frankly, I'm surprised by the reactions today..
PS: The video is SUBLIME.
