wallace and gromit bullshit video. what an embarrassment to go from being as visually powerful as they were sonically..back in the day..to this. hell, even BGAT had a decent video which had bite. this video is just...not prodigy. i cant believe he approved this. and i agree with the whole weird animal slaughter thing...its like cheap heat. the wrong type of cheap heat too.

this song aint doing much for me personally, its ok in places i guess.. but i shouldn't come to expect ok from this band. thats the main issue. it goes back to me previously stating that if this didnt have prodigy written on it, would people give it a second listen? or merely label it as a 'liam ripoff copycat' etc.....

and the people getting their knickers in a twist about people having negative opinions though need to take a step back i think. its getting tiresome seeing people complain that anyone who is prepared to be critical (in any shape or form!!! not ALL of it is trolling.!!) is boring, or a cunt, or a wannabe or a has-been or a whatever. Seriously people, its a difference of opinion..get over it and grow up!!

Never liked IMD and half of AONO and i dont like Nasty. TDIME and WF is better than most if not all of the songs i hear on clubs , radio or tv from other artists of the genre. Yeah he is not what he used to be. I'm sad i wont get an album as good as MFTJG and FOTL again but still he is better than everyone else and you are too hard on him.

Please dont defend the "Liam just quit" people.

If you think the song is shit, its fine, but i really dislike "Liam lost his soul after FOTL" seriously? The only part of FOTL i like is the funky tracks and i think most thinks about those tracks when they listen to it and not Serial thrilla.

Its like the people with good music taste just follows nostalgia.

This kind of reply is also tiresome.

thats absolutely fine mate, but its YOUR subjective opinion...granted it might be also a majority opinion, however it does not make it fact.

i respect that you dont like X,Y or Z...thats fine. You might like eating oranges and not apples...but i like eating apples and not oranges. Its those that come out all guns blazing to flame anyone who voices an opinion that is against the grain on here...thats where it starts getting silly. regardless of how harsh someone might word themselves, let them speak! it creates a (supposedly) adult, mature, subjective conversation based around a common thread...the prodigy.

I like the track but it’s definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. It’s not a track I would send to my friends and say “hey you have to listen to this”.

The problem is for me is the production value of the new stuff and IMD.

I mean you can count the amount of sounds used in a track on MFTJL or TFOTL on one hand. Just a few genius sounds in a few layers mixed in a beautiful harmony. Every sound counts and has a purpose. You can hear everything clearly and the sounds have space to breath. The beats are very deep and thumping and make you want to move. The melodies are haunting and beautiful at the same time. The music has atmosphere and surrounds you. The vocal samples are part of the music and are used as sounds more than lyrics. It’s a full massive body of sound from sub bass to hi-hats and you can distinguish every sound.

The new tracks have way too many things going on at once. Too many sounds and ideas cramped into a tiny box. You have to put the volume up to even hear some of the sounds in the background. So many layers of sounds. There is no sub-bass. The beats are not beats but drums. Everything is mixed together into a mush and thrown at you like dirt.

I want crystal clear diamonds and not dirty rocks.

That being said: I do enjoy the new tracks. I just can’t listen to the old stuff at the same time to enjoy it.

Bring on the full album already.

come on mate, lets be honest, its more or less a flame war as soon as someone offers their perspective on the music that goes against the majority.

When did i told you to stfu? Of course you can speak. I just think that you are too hard on him considering he is writing music for 25 yrs. About the ''fact or opinion thing''...well when the majority of the older fans, other artists, reporters, people of the music industry ect ect ect agree that Liam's 90's work was his best...well it is not a fact if you see the dictionary defeanition but something similar. Yeah you can say i like more AONO over MFTJG but when you say AONO is a better album you do not know your music.

Wild Frontier and Rhythm Bomb are two melodic, positive bangers and that's all. I dont like Wild Frontier... no... I HATE IT but this is the only track against the rest from The Day Is My Enemy album.
