That's actually my fav Prodigy lyric of all time. As performed by Keith live in Athens, 2004 that is.

Okay ive been listening alot more to it and it does have feeling for me.

The lyrics are starting to become better and yeah, its a pretty welldone Prodigy track, i love it.

This is actually the tune i like the most in 2000's, along with Omen Reprise and Mescaline.

It is pretty violent in some ways, tho i would say The Day is MUCH more violent for me, military stuffs and 8-bit does mix in a weird way, like that woman voice breakdown in Mescaline.

I blamed about Nasty's use of drums because it didnt fit in the song itself, and i was afraid the other tracks would have the same types of drums but no, military and middle 90s drums, great.

Yeah i have to say, this is my fav track of the 2000's. I cant compare to the 90s because i think that Breathe is a masterpiece that not even Liam himself can top, that song is perfect in every way, so let the 90s be.

If i have to say ONE thing i still cant get into about Wild Frontier is the breakdown. Its totally random, and its way too short. Why even put it there?

As for the Omen sample, its pretty cool. Liam remixes his own songs and i like them, so why should i care about samples?

Okay, maybe some samples are so badly placed. BGAT comes in mind.

For anyone who has pre-ordered album and has the option to download the official mp3 and wants official FLAC audio file of 3 released tracks (Nasty, TDIME and Wild Frontier).
There is little "bug" in prodigy store so there is very easy way to download it.

1 Login to your account on prodigy store theprodigy.tmstor.es
2 go to page where you download 320Kbps MP3 files of these tracks
3 right click on "320Kbps MP3" button and select "copy link address"
4 open new tab (or window as you want)
5 paste address to addressbar
6 at the end of address is "&type=mp3" so just rewrite it to "&type=flac" without quotes of course
7 and taddaaaaaa you are downloading FLAC file ... enjoy :)

I tried it just as fun, but it works :)

There was an interview with the girl who made the video on Dutch radio this morning. She told that Liam came out of a soundcheck and turned on the tv and her movie called 'Munya In Mij' was on. He made a phone recording and sent it to the record company telling them find out who made this.

She said the assigment was to make a twister childrens annimation. She sent a minute every week to Liam to discuss and Liam brought in some idea's. Originaly there was a different ending but Liam wanted it changed.

In a couple of minutes she will be on Dutch tv as well to talk about the video.

I quite like Wild Frontier, simple but energetic. Much better than Nasty but still like TDIME the most out of the new tracks. Looking forward to the new album. Only thing I'm missing in these new track is that something extra that used to come after the break like the additional beats in TMTTH.

Each album is their own thing.
If you're expecting some nostalgic return to the Jilted or FotL days, you're deluding yourself.

Liam has moved on, he has changed since then, he's writing what he wants to write now.
It doesn't make him any less of a producer.
He's just not producing music that you like, which doesn't make him a shitty producer.

Any good album is gonna divide fans.
But I'm sorry, you're not gonna get a Jilted Pt. 2 or FotL Pt. 2

I love Experience, Jilted, FotL just as much as anyone, but I don't feel the need to have to hold the new album up against their previous albums to decide if I like it or not.
I enjoy each album in their own way.
I didn't put any expectations on this album at all, I just wanted to get something that sounds like The Prodigy.
And Liam delivered on that.

Most folks seem to want some sort of cathartic experience that they had in their early tween years...
It's not gonna happen, folks.

When Liam says he's feeling these tracks (Otherwise he won't even bother to release them) ,
than what's left to criticize about
My personal opinion : Wild Frontier isn't my favourite , that spot belongs to The Day is My Enemy for now.
I'm guessing WF is the most radio-friendly track released so far,
and will hopefully achieve a nice spot in the charts. (How is it doing btw?)
It's an easy to listen to , accessible track that could appetize younger, UK-based ears.
Which isn't a bad thing , because in the end it has that Prodigy stamp
on it that's recognized instantly.
The dilemma I'm facing is that I wasn't expecting this , I want the radio-unfriendly stuff Liam told us about,
and TDIME plus Nasty surely delivered that to me.
I hope Wild Frontier is a thing on it's own just like Omen was on IMD,
and not representative for the rest of the new album.
And I'm very curious how it will end up sounding in a live environment.
I'm probably going to jump anyway
Anyway it's a banger like all the rest of them with the right amount of db.

At this point I'm just glad we're so close after all the waiting ,
sure there's always time to criticize and elaborate opinions.

But , maybe it's best not to worry.

I hope the album's gonna have a great flow in it, a flow where Wild Frontier fits in nicely.

I'm with you, the thing is Wild Frontier is more reminiscent of Omen and other IMD tracks. I mean, Liam really masters that Colourful 8-bit sound, so when it comes out in the TDIME track, it sounds like a few rays of light making their way through stormy clouds, and the track achieves to remain sinister

whereas hearing Wild Frontier, which I consider a good and well-mastered track on its on, I thought the track would belong more to the IMD era. hearing this now sounds almost like IMD part 2. and I don't want IMD part 2. I'm afraid Liam could ever think about wanting to make IMD part 2. IMD is a good album but we don't need more of that

time will tell, and if WF (and maybe 1 or 2 similar tracks) stand on its own in TDIME, I will most likely end up saying it has its place

I like the track but it’s definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. It’s not a track I would send to my friends and say “hey you have to listen to this”.

The problem is for me is the production value of the new stuff and IMD.

I mean you can count the amount of sounds used in a track on MFTJL or TFOTL on one hand. Just a few genius sounds in a few layers mixed in a beautiful harmony. Every sound counts and has a purpose. You can hear everything clearly and the sounds have space to breath. The beats are very deep and thumping and make you want to move. The melodies are haunting and beautiful at the same time. The music has atmosphere and surrounds you. The vocal samples are part of the music and are used as sounds more than lyrics. It’s a full massive body of sound from sub bass to hi-hats and you can distinguish every sound.

The new tracks have way too many things going on at once. Too many sounds and ideas cramped into a tiny box. You have to put the volume up to even hear some of the sounds in the background. So many layers of sounds. There is no sub-bass. The beats are not beats but drums. Everything is mixed together into a mush and thrown at you like dirt.

I want crystal clear diamonds and not dirty rocks.

That being said: I do enjoy the new tracks. I just can’t listen to the old stuff at the same time to enjoy it.

Bring on the full album already.

If you can count sounds from MFTJG and TFOTL by one hand, you need to by better hifi-system. There's lot of going on in those records also. Always when I have updated my hi-fi system to better, I found some more from these records. That's one reason why I love those records. I feel there was more of these backround sounds in these two old records.. but didn't hear them with poor speakers...

Best track Ive heard so far from the new album. abso love the video. This is a tune *I* wanted to hear from prodigy.

Ive been a fan as long as the majority of us.. watching so much stupid bickering here! Cant we all just settle down and realize what we do have in common is the prodigy and not much else?

Ive steered pretty clear of anything new in the past decade. Phuture Doom was the only album since IMD that brought me any excitement.

The point was that you can hear all the sounds clearly. SMBU has just a few layers and is perfect that way. Crystal clean.

The new sound is very dirty, layerd, distorted, crazy, punk rock... The tracks are even shorter and have a more song structure.

Not dissing... just saying. I do like WF.
