The same Guardian, they did two reviews.

I'd back that firmly.

My updated ratings with finally hearing the uncensored and click-free legit CD.

TDIME: 8 Angry and aggressive. Powerful and heavy.

Nasty: 7 It's good. It's nothing more.

Rebel Radio: 8 The Rebel Radio sample itself is great, and the beat is cracking. The indian horns at the end should have been used more though.

Ibiza: 3 I initially gave this turd a 9. No idea why. It's woeful. The lyrics stink. The samples are rubbish and it's got no variation. Instant skip now.

Destroy: 10 Simply put the best track. It's a killer. Absolutely collosal.

Wild Frontier: 7 A good track, like Nasty. It's gotten a little stale now. Like Nasty.

Rok-Weiler: 9 Very, very, very, VERY good. Angry, hard, brutal but why save the best bit, again, for the VERY end?

BTD: 7 Nice. But a skip, every time. Like Omen Reprise you have to be in the mood for it.

RB: 1 Horrid.

Roadblox: 8 A lot of fun but could have been slightly less repetitive. Fast and meaningful but a touch too long.

Get Your Fight On: 6 It's just a TMTH clone. There's no imagination here. Disappointing.

Medicine: 9 Massive beats give it a slight similarity to Thunder, particularly with the sample.

Invisible Sun: 5 It's ok. Tried something different here but again it's a skip that you have to be in the mood for.

Wall of Death: 8 Like TDIME fresh enough to listen to on the album without feeling stale. Decent way to end.

pitchfork review. 6/10.

http://pitchfork.com/reviews/albums/203 ... -my-enemy/

"invisible sun" gets slammed hard. definitely deserves it.
They call "Ibiza" best tune on the album, followed by the title track.
They pan the rest of the really corny lyrics...
in other words, they recommend using less of keef and maxim.

was expecting a complete pan of the record tbh.
IMD got a 5.8

I think Pitchfork lost a bit of credit with this line...
After a seven-year wait, 2004's Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned was a mixed bag of Fat of the Land-style retreads

AONO retreading FotL???? WTF? That album sounds nothing at all like FotL, it's the most opposite of that statement lol
A bunch of hipsters over at Pitchfork... just a bunch of The Knife/Grimes/FlyLo/Sleigh Bells loving douchebaggery

it is hipster central, yes. (btw, off topic.. i guess dogsonacid would be chav central. )

they still get a lot right about the album, though.

Some of these reviews are horseshit when it comes to facts.. DESTROY is a Breathe style track? Somebody clearly hasn't heard one of those two tracks!

Unfortunately the scene changed a lot the last years. Liam did a good work with this album and none should blame him. He just did not want to be castrated like other 90's bands and sync with the nowdays light crap. The ship did not take the wrong course, the port is in the wrong place.

I'm surprised Pitchfork rated it above 2, I always expect a low rating for anything vaguely mainstream. Saying "The best thing on the album, by far, is "Ibiza"", then saying other tracks have corny lyrics, well, that's the sheer insanity I'm used to...

You've obviously never been on DOA then, or you're thinking of DNBA.
