Video is okay, but I'm not gonna hold it against them.
The day of the video is DEAD!
Unless you're on some major label making commercial music, you're not gonna get the budget to make a proper video.

Do we hold it against Aphex Twin that he hasn't given us another Come To Daddy or Windowlicker?
Or another Tonight, Tonight from The Smashing Pumpkins?

The Prodigy are all about the live show now...
and this video is a huge promo for their live show.
I wouldn't really expect much more... perhaps another animated video.

But you're not gonna get another Breathe video...
Hoping for something like that is just foolish.

Agreed. The big music videoes and short films from the '80s and '90s are not coming back! MTV's been dead for 20 years now! There's no money in it anymore!

Spitfire video was much better than Omen or this, was more badass. I do not like this kind of videos. They are like commercials for the live shows.

For a band that puts so much emphasis on live shows, I really can't blame them. They need that kind of a video once in a while. And for that, it's a good effort.

They posted live videos of Wild Frontier, TDIME and Rok-Weiler on their youtube channel not so long ago. This "official video" doesn't add much more than what those delivered already.

Exactly!
Videos COST money...
The Prodigy aren't on a major label anymore, so it costs them a bit to a put a video together.
It's not like when they had the backing and influence of XL Recordings.
The video is fine, it does what it is meant to do.
But sadly, the days of awesome music videos are over... there's just no real outlet for them.
Even if you include YouTube or Vevo, the artists are not really making any money off them.

The difference being that GYFO is a music video for a single. I understand that people would rather take something else though.

not really into that vid...
ibeefa for me is the only proper 1 done off 'tdime'

seems a bit dumb to assume that the quality of videos (as in creativeness) is based on the budget. naaah..

but Firestarter has TWO videos...
not sure how much money was wasted on the original video.
even Firestarter being a pretty simple video, i'm sure it had a decent budget.
just look at the behind the scenes footage and all of the people working on it.
you're not gonna get a crew for your music video anymore.

They wanted to do a low budget vid (obviously) for this one.

So did anyone catch Caspa's remix of TDIME? Is there a way we can listen to it again?
