im gonna cause a riot ..
AONO > IMD & TDIME. and i listened to Imd the other day and i must say, i regret saying The Day Is My Enemy shits all over Invaders Must Die. Imd as a whole is more enjoyable than The Day which for me has 50% bangin tracks and 50% shit

I personally would say that's more of not listening to it and then going back to it. I used to rinse breath a lot, got fed up and stopped......heard it live and it reignited my love for it. Same for tracks like omen, i believe the music does cycles. Love it-meh-boring-love it

AONO > IMD & TDIME. Funny you should say that. I've always had a fonder feeling for AONO than the last two albums.

AONO > IMD & TDIME. Funny you should say that. I've always had a fonder feeling for AONO than the last two albums. It is because AONO is the forbidden love...i prefer AONO over IMD just because i love Girls and Spitfire.

I agree, AONO has something special, it really has its own sound and, even though some of the last tax are a crap, there are anyway great anthems (from Spitfire till Medusa). Then from Phoenix till the way it is is a bit crappy and then the great closer Shoot Down. Those were great trax.

i kinda think liam restarted himself with AONO, its is his return to hiphop. i find the same connection with experience/IMD and MFTJG/TDIME. AONO has its place but it can barely be considered prodigy its dirtchamber vol2. TDIME is way above AONO and IMD even thought theyre not bad

AONO is definitely a different beast though. It's hard to compare it with IMD and TDIME given it was basically a solo album.

I love get your fight on nowdays though! Even if I don't love the tracks too much, your arguments convinced me and I have no idea why you got laughed at. It is surprising for me to see that quite some fans think IMD is better, but I respect that. All the opinions are kinda bullshit anyway since TDIME is relatively new. I will ask myself in 5 years, now I think we're all a bit tired by IMD, others are a bit disappointed by TDIME.

I actually wish he took one more year to polish that thing properly. The Day Is My Enemy is a really decent album, better than IMD in many ways. I also keep going back to it constantly and I only deleted about 5 tracks from it.

I think with a little more time AONO could have REALLY been something TRULY special But it feels a bit half finished We saw where Liam could take those tracks live as time went on He really should have toured for a little bit to help fine tune and rework those tracks before releasing them AONO is 50/50.... 50% genius vs 50% unfinished demo material

I honestly think AONO is amazing. It has some fillers and I know it's basically a solo LP, but it has balls. And it shows that Liam could make music even after the rest of the band retires.
I'm dissapointed with TDIME ⎯ with the sound, to be more specific. Except the title track, which I absolutely love (and which was written about 5-6 years ago, so there goes Liam's theory of "we never go back to old tracks", yeah), everything else is... meh. I liked the original version of Rockweiler way more than the album version; I liked Heatwave way more than Rebel Radio. The tracks are not bad in themselves, but the sound... dunno, to me it's cheeeeesy as fuck! I think this album will sound dated very fast.
As for the (distant) past, you can't beat MFTJG and FOTL, I doubt Liam will write anything so insanely awesome ever again.

I like the artwork and general creativity that surrounds AONO. The problem with AONO is the same problem with a product with a charming design but lacking functionality and usage.
