I was never a fan of the AWOL played live...
Except for that Bratislava version, which I thought was wicked
But I dig Strike One more than the usual version of AWOL
The one played live always felt empty and incomplete to me
It was too verse chorus versey to me, predictable
Strike One is more raw, in your face, manic type track... and I dig it.
Wish we got that "Distort the mind" sample

Technically it is the first version of AWOL but I don't know. This isn't the same track that blew me away couple years ago when I last saw it played live.

uh, this is entirely different to the first AWOL version.
It's basically AWOL beats with added synths and vocals.

Agree with Mowgli and agree with toX... i mean im happy because very rare thing just happend but im dissapointed because original, dark and punky first Awol version is awesome. This one is good (still better than almost everything on The Day Is My Enemy) but as Mowgli said sounds very messy and chaotic. Flint sounds so gay and weird on this... where are his agressive punky vocals? Also this main cat meow / elephant / horn sound or whatever is different, worse. This version is more like Awol Beat Jam with some small parts from the original version. Overall happy but dissapointed :)

yeah I don't know what Liam was thinking tuning Flint's voice to sound so gay on this lol.
His vocals sound much meaner in the original version.

it's not just beat jam with added details. it's beat jam backround, 40% from regular version. many new details + new intro, outro.
that last 30 seconds, uhhh, man love that darkness. please more darkness in the future. that ROCK U male vocal, or smth like that.. is cool haha

it could me TDIME track nr 2 if u ask me. really like it!

lol, i reported Nightmare accidently

I LOVE IT. This might be my favourite track from this era coupled with TDIME. It contains so much from all the other AWOL iterations how can you not like it? I'm happy they kept all the samples and i think keith sounds fine, better than his vocals on the album. Most importantly its raw and in your face and doesn't slow down at all. Wish it was on the album.

Oh my God, what a fuc**in mess of a tune, the beats are indescribable, it sounds confusing, a lot of elements working together at the same time but with no sense at all, no structure, nothing.

The concepts of "banger", "it's for the live warriors" and "raw" are destroying his previous cunning song writing.

A few days ago I played MFTJG in my car and comparing such a perfect album, just any of old those tracks, the sounds, the production in which you could discern every sound individually and clean with all this...come on guys, don't delude yourselves.

Happy this was a b-side. And the new remixes (this era and 80% of IMD era) stink too. We've already seen it before, in the future we'll see this album as what it is actually, the same happened with IMD, first everybody was in love with it, now it's different.

Having said all this, I still think there are very good tracks in TDIME (Medicine is superb) but there are 2 Prodigy's for me, until 1997 and from the 00's onwards. And I'm not a troll because I know how most of you react against criticisms.

yeah thats my problem with it, sounds like a lot of noises mashed together.

Rapraiz did a better job imo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CN5Q0uuRukU
The beats, the hihats, the riff.. everything is clearly distinguishable and doesn't sound like a mess.

This track is so messy, confusing yet hypnotic.

Its like Android. Trippy as sht.

Masterpiece EP imo.

Hope they release more EPs with edits and b-sides.

Rebel Radio remixed by Liam.
Awol strike two.
Dogbite new version.

Or fk that, release Vogue.

I liked the original version better - just like with all the other original tracks (Rockweiler, Heatwave); even the synth sound that replaces what used to be a guitar riff in the original version sounds cheesy. And the vocals... oh noe.

PS: reading the comments I see there are a lot of people in love with this album; still, many others are disappointed with it; statistically speaking, I reckon this could be the most contested Prodigy album ever.
