TDIME pisses all over IMD
IMD has maybe 2-3 songs that stayed with me... the rest BLAH
TDIME is a much stronger and consistent album

IMD a classic? No

Lots of production issues with IMD, a very shrill digital record trying to sound analog
While TDIME has a warmth and thickness to it
TDIME hits harder and heavier when played loud on a good sound system.

Maybe not for you, but the general prodigy concert goers seem to respond to imd tracks very well :)

Tdime may sound harder and better produced, but the songwriting is below par. If the production and beats of tdime were cmbined with the ideas of IMD....that would be great.

I guess neil McLellans input was quite big this time. most of the stuff was shaped in last 2-3 months. songwriting was done by Liam, but rest of production, engineering and mixing was Liam + Neil. That is the reason TDIME sounds bit better then IMD and feels more like a complete picture. with IMD it was more just mixing on Neils behalf. I love that guy. Liam still has it, i think. But he needs real inspiration to get things moving and finishing on hes own. Maxim and Keith can't help him with that.

Omen needed at least heavier beats.

That's untrue. The vocals might have been recorded 6-7 years ago, but the song itself was the last from the album to be written. Back in 2012 if they played the trap version called "The Day", it is because the current army drums version didn't exist yet.

Speaking of army drums on TDIME, why the fuck are they so muffled?

Liam would say it's raw, like the Run intro

Oh boy. Well, I say its kind of redundant, just like the Run intro. I cant believe Neil would allow this. The horror!

don't get it. :)
why do you think they should be different? if it's like that, it's suppose to be like that, this is their vision, it's not that they haven't washed their ears.

Well, its obvious that it is supposed to be like that. I doubt they fucked something up and only figured it out when they released the damn thing.

To me, the drums sound a bit cheap, regardless of how RAW they were intended to be.

yeah by a long way. Liam is clearly bored making new tracks. i think they like playing live. Look how bored Keith looks in the latest video, Maxim doesn't give a shit as long as he's getting paid. They need another break maybe come back for one more album in 10 - 15years or something, if the muse returns, otherwise move onto new projects separately.

actually no he's not. he writes beats everyday as said in many interviews. even with AWOL he made a new vertion of it and didn't release an old thing that dates back from Invaders sessions.

in the close up he chose to be neutral, look how crazy he's in the live shots, gettin on with rob and on the break down just smashing it. your comments are boring though.

can i ask you what made you think that? maxim looks more into this era than he was on Invaders and it was well noted by everyone. he also got more vocal duties then last time.

no friend i'm afraid it's the other way around. why don't you give yo self a break instead?

I don't understand people, everything is shit to them. they don't release EPs it's bad, if they do it's bad. I can reason with someone who has isues with something but not everything.

I thought everyone was entitled to their opinion. Plus, he said something about the band, and you're attacking the person.
