TDIME is the absolute complete opposite of EDM in every way shape or form.

I find AONO to be their worst album.
I can honestly say I only truly love Girls and Get Up Get Off from the album.
Spitfire gets boring half way through, Memphis Bells doesn't go anywhere.
Hotride and Wake Up Call are decent tracks, Action Radar is not so bad.
Phoenix, You'll Be Under My Wheels, The Way It Is, Shoot Down... four absolute stinkers in a row.
I can never get through the last third of the album of AONO.
It comes to a screeching halt around Action Radar.

TDIME, best album since The Fat Of The Land and sounds like the amalgamation of every album sound in one package.

it might not be best live track, tempo is so different from others.. but this vocal and guitar sound with that raw pumping bass... aaaawh, that's my taste.

So you didn't see TDIME live... prepare to be blown away, it kills more than any of the other new tracks. You are actually right about the tempo, but the live version is slightly faster and works much better that way.

It has Diesel Power-esque drums too. It's awesome.

still think it's the worst prodigy album. the last true creative output was AONO which was totally ahead of the time. TDIME is just the representation of EDM and all it stands for. A commercial album that completely lacks any innovation. Sounds like something a fanboy would try to reconstruct of what a prodigy song should be like. either way i have only one tune i listen to, and even that is repetitive as fuk. i honestly can't believe how people can't hear that the whole lp just sounds cheap.

I've been on this site since 2002 and went through every release since BGAT till today and honestly out of the 3 albums we got TDIME had the best feedback from true hardcore fans on this forum and the media etc
It is definitely the best prodigy release since TFOTL.
I respect your opinion but like I said, hardcore prodigy fans like you and me find it better than aono and imd. Sure , some of the ideas don't sound too 'ffresh' and it sounds like the prodigy is parodying itself but this is the sound of the prodigy lol

I don't think most fans prefer tdime over imd though.

All in all the new album lacks epicness. It is like awol: originally it had awesome synths and vibe but the actual release is over worked, over produced...like mescaline.

to me, after a while of digesting.. the last album on a whole sounds weak, stale and boring. i can only listen to the day is my enemy and ibeefa. they sound fresh and innovative for me.. but the rest...... .

planned to go to my 7th prodigy gig but cancelled it. there's maybe 1 new track on the current set i'd like to hear and we all know surprises are hard to come.

AONO over TDIME anyday.. bring the ruckus!

oh, and what do i need to do to be called a TRUE PRODIGY FAN ?

What is this bullshit, we're all true Prodigy fans. It's just that most of BK people out there liked the album. But there's nothing wrong with disliking it, really.

You ask what would you have to do, to be considered a true fan. This year at Opener I saw two chicks with OMEN written over their tits. Just DON'T do that, and I think it will be enough xD

 fair enough.

it was a rhetorical question tho. some often refer to "true prodigy fans". i think that's each to their own... its not a prize you win by liking everything

a)to follow the band for at least 15 or more years
b)to see them live at least 5 times
c)in my country...you also need to punch at least once a metal long haired asshole and survive without drinking any urine.....aaah the early-mid 90"s.Still remember the ''death squads'' lurking outside of trance/rave clubs to ambush us.

i guess i'm not a fan since i've only seen them twice... but they rarely come to the US.
though i've been following them since 1993 in the 4th grade.
and haven't really had to punch anyone in the face since i was in high school.

Love them.

That's all my criteria. I don't care how many albums you've bought, merchandise you have, gigs you've been to - if you get as excited by a new Prodigy track as a kid on Xmas day, that's enough for me.

Since 1991 that's been me. To this day they're still my number one. In such a dynamic industry in a constant state of flux, that's an incredible achievement.

I just fear they'll retire after this tour. Although I wouldn't begrudge them it.
