what did everyone think? i saw it tonight and i thought it was fucking awesome...got alot of bad reviews and i mean it wasnt the best movie ever but it was well worth the money and the time!

I pretty much agree. It wasn't great, but it wasn't terrible either. Man, they sure butchered Warning though... excuse me, "First Warning" :D

shit in my opinion

Not bad, fast paced action all the way but I thought the ending brought it to a bit of an anti-climax. Waiting to see the alternative ending on the DVD.

I saw Smoking Aces the yesterday. I wasn’t impressed. The first half is an unoriginal rip-off of Guy Ritchie and Quentin Tarantino-type styles and the second half is very slow moving and boring. Not much of a storyline and no great acting going on either.

I saw it a week ago and I think's it's nothing special. Actually it was a bit boring though it has some potential. Why Joe Carnahan is trying to be Guy Ritchie or Tarantino when he cannot?? The movie had no direction, too much characters (most of them redundant), lack of creativity. Just a lot of undeveloped ideas put together.

and the character of the "stupid Russian guard with dull haircut and training suit" is way too trite

the best things in the movie were the music and Alicia Keys' tits

I enjoyed it. It's nothing original or groundbreaking, but it's a good mindless action movie and a good waste of 2 hours lol.

I loved the way First Warning was used in the movie, the buildup with the opening bassline in the elevator waiting for the "Germans" was great. Clint Mansell did a great job chopping it up and using it effectively

If anyone else was gonna buy this to watch the alternative ending, I wouldn`t bother. It`s all of 1 min long and not very alternative at all.
