GYFO was and is the best track on the album. Recycled beat or not

I still don't get why Rise was banned from the final tracklist. It should be on the album instead of some tracks (for example the totally useless recycled GYFO).

It wasnt banned it wass an itunes exclusive

Yeah, it's banned. In the original tracklisting it wasn't just a bonus track. It was meant to be on the album.

'Beyond The Deathray' is a strange choice for opening track. Interesting to see how the track list order changed. I wonder how much thinking goes into it? Years ago I read about Radiohead putting the tracks of their yet to be released album on a minidisc player. They could then listen and easily change the track order. They used that method to decide on the final tracklist.

Speaking of Radiohead, their last album 'A Moon Shaped Pool' it's tracklist was chosen/arranged by alphabetical order and it made perfect sense, perfect opener and closer etc
Brilliant.

I did. For me the best way to listen TDIME is the vinyl tracklist.

1. The Day Is My Enemy
2. Nasty
3. Rebel Radio
4. Ibiza
5. Wild Frontier
6. Get Your Fight On
7. Invisible Sun
8. Wall of Death
9. Destroy
10. Rhythm Bomb
11. Beyond the Deathray
12. Rok-Weiler
13. Roadblox
14. Medicine

I love this album.

This is no biggie

But today Martina Topley-Bird released her 4th solo studio album. I was hooked on her stuff from when she appeared on Massive Attack Heligoland album in 2010.

So today she did Q&A session on her instagram and I asked her what was it like to work with The Prodigy. She said she got to know the band personally back in 1996. She was asked to join them in the studio to do some vocals pre IMD era. She really loves what The Prodigy was about so she was really devastated that Liam didn't use any of her voice in any of the tracks. Later on when TDIME was coming about she got an email from Liam telling her that he reworked a song with her and it's going to be the title track of their new album. She also said that there are no other band that unites fans from so many genres and would love to do more songs with them.

X
