He's the technician who makes sure all the equipment's working correctly, in tune and so on. Also his job to look after all the amps, cables etc when setting up, before, during and after the show. Dunno how many other guys there are in the Prodigy crew, but I imagine Liam doesn't set up his laptops and keyboards himself. Usually it's one or two roadies per band member that plays an instrument.
