Lesson four: See who deleted you on MSN/Windows live messenger

Okay, so i am getting a bit annoyed at people who uses sites like whoblockedyourmessenger.iamanass and sends out messages to everyone on their contact list when they use it. So here is some facts:

- You CAN see who deleted you from their contact list

- You can NOT see who blocked you, unless they ALSO deleted you OR allows everyone except blocked users to contact them + they are online while you run the block check (which is rare. I will explain later)

- Any tool or site claiming anything else is lying.

- MSN/Windows live messenger already has a build in function you can use to see who deleted you

- When you submit your account email and password to those sites, you just gave away a lot of personal information about yourself, which in some cases can be used for identity theft. They can now log into msn as you and chat with all of your friends online and if you use same password for your email account (a very common mistake), they can read all of your personal emails, which often contains your real address, your web-bank login information, and your credit card information from online shops. PLUS you provided them with real working email addresses for ALL of your friends which is every spammers dream. Not only are you fucking yourself, but you also fucked all of your friends over.

How you check if someone on MSN/Windows live messenger deleted you:
Open MSN/Windows live messenger and log in.
In the main window, go to the menus; Tools -> Options -> Privacy
On your "Allow list" you will see everyone who you allow to contact you
Image
When you rightclick on a contact on your "Allow list" you will see the context menu shown on this picture. If the option "Delete" is selectable (it is not in this example) then the person has deleted you from his or her contact list.

If you press the "View" button to see who added you, you will get a list of people who has you on their contact list. Also people who you might have deleted from yours.

Another way to quickly see if people has you on their contact list, is by downloading the multi account MSN/ICQ/AIM/Yahoo/Yabber/.. client called Pidgin and use it to log in to your msn account. In that program, you can hover the mouse on your contacts and a small info box will tell you if they have you on their contact list.

How you protect yourself from this trick:
Dont delete contacts if you do not want them to know you did so.

To prevent people from checking weither you blocked them, be sure to use the default settings as seen on the picture. If you use the default settings, "only people on my allow list can see my status and send me messages" will be activated, and "All others" will be on your block list (like on this picture).
If your settings are different and you allow all others to contact you, then they will be able to see if you blocked them, by using an MSN account that is not on your block list to check your status with (only works if you are online though).

If the damage has already been made:
If you already gave away your login information; change your password. If you use the same password in more than one place, then change them all and use different passwords if possible.

I would but unfortunately most of my production software is either unstable or incompatible with Linux... With it being as good as it is, why have manufacturers not made this more compatible with everything? :?

this only one Suggestion , not lead to serious

Companies do not produce software for linux because they believe they will have to open the source code of software

Because the microshit paid for some companies not produce software for linux

Because companies do not realize that can win big money with linux providing user support

I have microshit windows in second partition from 12Gb to play Halo

One reason why some users still does not take linux seriously, is because many linux fans are fanatics who cant provide better arguments than "microshit" and "linux is the best".

Quote:

Big software companies arent run by braindead people. There is no money (yet. there probuably will be when the usability in linux gets better, so grandparents and less fortunate people can use it) in developing end user applications to an operating system who's users does not need them. There is linux alternatives to many things, but far from all.

Support of software is largely done in-house, and by consultancy companies that can provide small companies with support for a large range of software, so they only need one support deal and not one for each piece of software they use. Plus, a great deal of software is not profitable only by selling support.

Im not dissing linux. I have used it myself for lowlevel programming for microcontrolers which linux is far better at. I just dont think its mature enough for the desktop masses. And btw. both linux and windows are free (who pays except those who wont miss the money?).

The support that I speak is for those who have difficulty in dealing with linux and for those who do not want to learn

Also for businesses

That would be optional of the choice person

This will also help free software grow

The people of the free software also needs money to survive

Why businesses not envestem in linux?

Because they believe that will not profit, a company also needs money to survive, nobody likes to work for free

I dont understand all of what you write. But wither way, I do not see how Linux is a better desktop OS than anyhting else.

Can you tell us what the benefit of linux is for desktop users?

No malware?
Only people who arent smart at computer gets infections, and since they arent smart, how will they ever figure out linux? Its not the easiest thing to set up for a majority of people, even though things has become a lot better recently.

Free?
People get windows for free with their new pc, from work or school, or from the web.

Instead you will experience compatibility issues. Both with software and hardware. In an ideal world, things would be different. They just arent yet, but i hope it will be soon. So all i see it comming down to is political agendas and kids screaming "K LOL ROFL WINDOWZ NOOB! LiNUX RULEZ".
