Try Goldwave. It's got a maximise feature that will increase the volume without affecting the quality. It's the only mp3 editor I ever use nowadays.

How to find "hidden" website stuff (folders and files)

The way i found the new official website before launch was to use a dictionary of possible folder names and a program called "Discover" (get it here).

First i created the dictionary list (get/see it here)
Loaded the list into the program,
Typed in the website name and pressed start.

Then the program generates a list of folders that it finds on the given server. In that way i found the forum a bit before rest of the page came up.


Finding files is usualy a bit of a pain in the bum, since they dont use "standard" names like folders do, plus they can have any file extension. But you can use a program like this to find various kinds of enumerated files, and you can use the "Discover" program, by adding file extensions to the words in the dictionary text file.
