This is the shit I mean man, fuck yeah.
They're following the game's storyline exactly the way I want.

This looks like epic garbage. Why adapt a videogame that sold on its cinematic elements?

There's already a Max Payne movie.... it's called Max Payne, the game!

I don't care I'm giving you spoilers, my message is dedicated to those who love the games and have seen the movie.

OKAY The Visuals were good...

But there were ... 3 fucking action scenes

Less pain then expected !

The final boss from the game is seen in the movie, but isn't being concidered as an enemy at all by Max himself...

This movie doesn't deserve a sequel

Mona Sax doesn't have any thing interesting to do in the movie either, she's just there doing ... bullshit.

I actually was surprised about Ludacris because I liked him as Jim Bravura, he did his role right, but it isn't the Jim Bravura we know from the game.

I got no words for the ending really... it differs alot from the ending of the game.

Max Payne with... Cold Case Unit ?
What the fuck is that man.. he's supposed to be DEA.
I haven't heard anything in the game that Max was with the CCU.

SO WRONG !

You won't let a game action cult hero do a stupid job like that in the movie right.

They concentrated way too much on the murder Michelle,
and the link to the Valkyr drug.
It ate too much time of the movie.

I liked te Valkyr part tho.
It was done correctly, and the link with Lupino was done brilliant !
Why did he die so fucked up ? So quick ? I mean... come on ?
Wether I liked the Lupino scenes or not, they also ate too much time of the movie, his role was supposed to be small in the game, they should've left it that way in the movie.

Lots of references to the game, except for the twisted story fucked up.
The Aesir building (Everytime I saw the top of the building in the movie, I just hoped it would end the right way up there, like in the game, believe me , the game's ending is way more satisfying then the movie one)

Another reference to the game is when you see 'Gognitti Storage' , you can see it in a scene where Max is trying to look up some documents of his wife's work. I was expecting to see Vinnie but it was just a reference to the character in the game, too bad, he could have brought some fucking humor to the movie, but I guess the director was aiming for a Semi Sin City look for the movie.

Mark Wahlberg... buddy.
It's not your fault, you got the guts to play Max man but... really...
they should have written a better fucking script.
It's not your fault, AGAIN ... it's NOT... Mark's fault.

Max Payne ... the game.
Had an awesome , easy , story.

The script writers were fucked in their asses tho and decided to make the story more 'interesting' . They succeeded on some parts (The Valkyr - Lupino connection was done great imo) , but because of an interesting story they ddn't bother to make some more action scenes.

Max Payne going rogue on Valkyr was done good, but not great.
The action scenes were ... okay.

This movie was done for Hollywood, not for the gamers.
Screw you 20th Century Fox... SCREW YOU.
GOD FOR ONCE LISTEN TO THE GAMERS ARGH

I can talk hours about this but I need to get a fucking smoke and some sleep, LATER

well Mark Wahlberg admited that he never actioly playd the game...I mean wtf man? if you doing a role of the main charecter of game based movie, you should definatly play the fucking game...this thing about him not playing made me soooo mad!!! He will probly play the game next year and say "yeah this game kicks ass, sad I did not play it when I was doing a role as max" FUCKET UP!!! Is it so hard? you just sit, eat chips, drink beet and play a game - legend.

agreed there where about 60 min dialog...BORING but the action scenes you have to admit it was amazing, the blowing up and the bullet time was awsom. still not enough to save the movie. peace of shit...I will probly never see a comic book/game based movie for max payne, or any general movie at all... ok maby It's to much ;p

makes me wanna drink
