This is a good point. My guess would be the Far East Tour and the videos for Invaders Must Die and possibly Omen. That is just a guess though...

they have so many good songs..but to be honest eastern jam is the one that seems to get the best reaction..the first chase and status song i heard was duppy man..and that was only a year ago..i think to be honest drum and bass is a dying thing..everyone is moving onto dubstep..
its those damn stoners

Whys everyone into this Chase And Status. Is it because they are the next big thing to come along?? Just Like when pendulum first made an impact on to the scene??
It all sounds like average Drum and bass to me. If you think they are so different then ... i think you need your ears testing. Not having ago at you here .... but
You cant HONESTLY tell me that they sound different?
Go into the download section and see how many C&S fans are on here, quite a few. If you think they sound like Pendulum listen to Eastern Jam.. Pendulum would give give their bollocks to sound like that

Well way back during the Their Law tour Liam said they were filming it to put it as a bonus DVD with the next album. Don't know if that well still be on the DVD we're getting, but that's when he first stated that we'd get a bonus DVD with the next album.

Not being funny ... but I think this Chase ans status really do sound like Pendulum!! Unique isn't the word I'm thinking of here .... Especially the one with Plan B. Not heard anything by them them what makes me think there anything special. Not really feeling their stuff! I'd rather have Pendulum!! ha ha But good on um if they have a remix to do for The Prodigy. Will be very interesting to see what they come up with.
They really are pretty sick producers. They're nothing like Pendulum. I understand the 'Pieces' comparison, but really they are one of the most versatile dnb producers around. They can seemingly drift in and out of whatever sub-genre of dnb they please.
Look at their tunes. They got big with 'Duppy Man' and 'Dumplin Riddim', ragga-based tunes. They follow those up with Liquid female vocal tunes 'Hurt U' and 'Take Me Away'. They then completely do a 180 and release a dance floor smasher with 'Judgement'. Then on their album they have everything from "Kanye West style" hip hop with Kano, 80s influenced dubstep with 'Running', and Bollywood inspired 'Eastern Jam'. They're really all over the map. They've shown much more diversity then Pendulum ever have.

Phoenix wrote: Still ... both of these ... Pendulum and chase and status still wouldn't get me buzzin like a Prodigy track would. I'll check out more of this Chase and Status stuff .... only heard about 4 or 5 tracks. was good! didn't get much of a feelin off um. They got an album out soon i think? is that right?
You should be able to listen to previews of all the tracks on it at http://www.amazon.co.uk/More-Than-Alot-Chase-Status/dp/B001GR6H1M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1228487190&sr=8-1
Scroll down a bit and you should see the new mp3 section.
Btw i kinda understand where you're coming from about some of C&S' tunes sounding the same. But this must be coming from you're views about their older tracks (cos i partly agree on a certain extent)
Listen to those previews from More Than Alot and you'll see how much they've matured in the dnb scene.
