This is not a cover, it's a re-make. Rap-girl group Remedeeh released her debut single 'The Remedy' in 1999. What makes this release Prodigy related is the fact that she used the main hook from 'Poison' in her rap chorus. That's the part where Maxim raps "I've got the poison, I've got the remedy, I've got the pulsating rhythmical remedy". In Remedeehs version the lyrics are slightly altered to fit her rap and they begin with "You're spittin' poison, I spit my remedy..."
In any case there's no question of where she got that hook from. One can also assume that her name 'Remedeeh' originates from the now classic line in The Prodigy's 'Posion'.
